Brothers- Ang Probinsyano Episode 740 The search for Mara by Lucas and the Taskforce proved futile, Armando cut off his support for Cardo
Mariano told Delfin that Lily would not kowtow to their plans. She had money and could buy the silence of everyone to ensure she wins the elections.
Delfin insisted that not everything could be bought with money. He said he came from the dungeon and it was Lily who made her taste money. He was happy about the life he led through the generosity of Lily and was sure Lily would succeed while the Taskforce would lose.
Delfin could not believe that Mariano actually did not care about who would get hurt so far as he satisfied his stomach. Mariano threatened to wipe the Taskforce out of the surface of the earth if he returned to the palace.

Delfin accepted the challenge and told him that they should see who would make it alive. When he left, Omar believed the imposter was right because Cardo and his group did not care about who would get hurt as long as they believed they were fighting for their cause.
Lily thought about Mariano. To her, Mariano had served his purpose and would get rid of him but would make the public believe Cardo did that to Mariano. After his déåth, she would appear like the victim of Cardo’s act.
Hipolito and Padua watched Lily, crying and pleading with the Taskforce that they should spare the life of her husband. Arturo couldn’t believe the number of tricks Lily had under her sleeves. Hipolito warned that Lily should watch out because he had not started yet, his best was yet to come.
Cardo told the rest of his group that Mara was not there and that only meant that Don Ignacio was not the one who captured her. Aurora thought about the whereabouts of Oscar, if the one captured was fake.
She wondered if the person she saw in the hut when she went to San Andres was really Oscar. Lolita and Armando watched the news to see Oscar’s footage. They realised Oscar was in the North so Armando ordered his men to scout the entire North for Oscar before Cardo reached him first.
When Cardo and Lucas returned, Lucas told Armando that they could not find Mara. Armando said he knew his daughter because he trained her. He knew Mara would return. Cardo told Armando about the video of the fake president which they uploaded and had gone viral.
He was counting on Armando to help him with his men to meet Lily, Renato and Arturo the following day. Armando sadly told him that he lost most of his men and currently Mara was missing so he would not support Cardo on that because he was up against influential people.
Cardo was surprised. When he left, Armando confronted Lucas for his actions. He swore to deal with him the next time he made a decision without consulting him first. Cardo went to his place to inform Delfin and the rest that Armando would not help them in their pending mission.

Delfin was upset that they promised to help one another but Armando had gone against his promise. Cardo said perhaps they were fighting different causes and they did not really know Armando.
Renato and Arturo were in a car going. Arturo now did not care about who would k!ll Dalisay. All he wanted was for that persky Cardo to d!é.
It has left with a week for the elections to Kickstart and Lily was counting on Don Ignacio to endorse her to win despite Cardo’s bark.
Unbeknownst, Don Ignacio was so upset with her for deceiving him. He told Eduardo that Lily groomed an imposter to fake as the president.
Eduardo told his brother about Aurora sneaking out of the house to go to San Andres. He said he was scared that Aurora might be captured by Cardo if she did that again. Don Ignacio tasked him to ensure that did not happen and he should eliminate the fishermen at San Andres after that they would capture Cardo.
Lucia and Aurora watched the videos of the fake president being captured and the other man with two people who had disguised face but was seen as the President. The news queried about the person who was actually the president whether the one Cardo captured or the other one.
Aurora thought about it and told Lucia that she suspected Lily and never liked her the very moment their path came across at the hospital. Lily had a discussion with her and told her things about Oscar and her that were meant to be an iñsült.
She confirmed it when she bumped into the President at the Art Exhibit. The president acted like he did not know her and even called her çrâzy so from that moment she knew the man was not her beloved and sweet Oscar.
Elsewhere, Oscar also listened to the news about Hernandez being in charge of the presidency. He wanted to do something drastic before Lily controlled Hernandez. However, Ambo and Elizabeth showed concern because any wrong move by Oscar would lead him to his grave.
Lucas sat and thought about Armando and Lolita’s act. He wondered why Armando would abandon his own flesh and blood without caring about her safety. He thought they were fighting for the oppressed but now he could tell Armando was rather after the bounty on the heads of Cardo.
He promised to continue searching for Mara irrespective of what Armando would say. He initially saw Armando as his idol but now he had no respect for him. Samuel appeared and talked to him but Lucas insisted that Mara would also search for him, if he had gone missing.
Cardo thought about the mission for the next day. He prayed to ask God for his guidance and protection. He knew it would not be easy. Omar joined him to tell him to allow him to join the group for the next day’s mission.
He overheard his conversation with his group that Armando would not help him that was the reason he wanted to assist but Cardo said his life would be in danger as he did not have any combat experience.
Cardo then apologised to him for being responsible for the déåth of his wife and unborn child. He told him that he would want him to return home safely after his next day mission. Cardo then went inside.
Omar tear down. He was not ready to forgive Cardo for k!lliñg his brother and ruining his family. A simple apology was not enough to forgive him.
