Brothers- Ang Probinsyano Episode 747 Mariano is laid to rest, Armando sells Cardo out, Lucas helps the Taskforce to escape
The journalists interviewed Albert on Cardo’s case. Albert assured to find the rest of the Taskforce to bring them to book, adding that they all deserved to d!é.
Diana and the Taskforce were still happy to have discovered that Cardo was still alive. Basco said they now had two missions: to rescue Cardo and to find the real president.
Albert stated that Cardo was a menace to the society and had to face the full rigors of the law. He no longer wanted any questions and left.
Lily laid her decoy to rest. She appeared like a widow who had lost a great husband due to Cardo. She made the public aware that her husband was a great leader and deserved justice.
She then ordered Augustus to ensure the real President did not show up to compromise the situation. Since Armando saw no use for the Taskforce after Cardo had been captured, he told Lucas about his intentions to get rid of the group.
He believed it was high time to reclaim the bounty on the heads of the group and wanted to turn the group in. That, did not go down well with Lucas. He reminded Armando of how the group risked their lives to help them in their battles.
He was surprised that Armando wanted to repay the group by selling them out to their enemies. Armando did not care about what Lucas thought. Lucas realised that Armando was no different from Don Ignacio and he did not think twice to even eliminate Mara.
Greed and Power had blindfolded him. Hipolito knew he might lose the elections so he now thought of using violence to assume power from Lily. He had a plan with Don Ignacio and Arturo who also wanted to take revenge on Lily.
The Taskforce came to Armando to request for his help in rescuing Cardo but Armando turned their request down with an excuse that he was not ready to risk the lives of his members.
Now that their enemies had Cardo, he believed the fight was tough for them to risk the lives of his group members. Moreover, Mara had not returned. The Taskforce begged but Armando’s decision was final.
At the funeral, Lily still played the victim card. She was happy that even in his déåth, Mariano had still been useful to her. She had now cleared the good reputation of the President and would have a greater chances of winning the elections.
The group returned to their room and wondered how they would be able to rescue Cardo since Armando had cut off his support. Diana believed Armando had already decided before they went to request for his help. James suggested they leave Armando’s place since they would not receive any help from him.
Unbeknownst, Samuel had called Lito up to sell the group out for the bounty. Armando even talked to Lito to ensure they were speaking with the right person for their bounty to be guaranteed. They agreed that Armando would send the location of the Taskforce that evening.
Lily spoke with Albert for an update on Cardo’s current condition. Albert ended up telling her about how he maltreated Cardo before he was sent to the hospital yet Cardo managed to survive. He had no doubts that Cardo had a devil in hell preventing him from appearing there.
Lily got upset with him since a section of the public believed Cardo was innocent. She wanted Cardo to live to take the fall of everything. Lito came in to inform him about a certain person who had the news about the current location of the Taskforce and Lily took the number of the person.
The looks on Lito’s face made Lily aware that he wanted to get rid of Cardo because he snatched Alyana away from her. She advised Lito to give her time but Lito believed everything was to Lily’s own benefit.
He was tired of obeying her every order and was certain that if they did not get rid of Cardo at the moment, he might get an urge over them. Lily and Lito ended up arguing.
Lily spoke with Armando. Armando was glad to have spoken with the first lady. He charged his men to surround all the exit and entry points of the mansion.
Least did Armando know that Lucas had betrayed him. He had informed the Taskforce about Armando’s plot against them and was helping them to escape through the back.
Armando’s group saw the Taskforce escaping and the Taskforce was forced to shøøt and k!lléd some of the group members of Armando. Samuel came across his brother and Lucas pleaded with him to go with him. Samuel could not believe what his brother was doing.
Lucas said he realised that the Taskforce members were good people and urged Samuel to go with him. Samuel gave Lucas the go ahead to leave. After he left, Armando appeared there and Samuel pretended to be shøøting the Taskforce.
One of the group members told Armando that Lucas was the one who helped the Taskforce to escape. Samuel did not like it because his brother had been exposed. They chased after the Taskforce and the group came to a point that they did not have anywhere to run to.
Lucas spotted a pole that they could flee with its wires and charged the group to follow him. Elsewhere, Lito went to the hospital where Cardo was.
