Budding musician, Nukre dies in a fatal accident
Budding highlife artiste, Nana Kyei Fosu, popularly known in the industry as Nukre has passed on.
According to media confirmation, the artiste was involved in an accident on Sunday at about 11 pm at Tesano in the Greater Accra Region.
The news was confirmed on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz on Monday in Accra by Mr Dordzie, a management team member of the artiste.
He stated that he was with Nukre throughout yesterday and was shocked to receive the news of his death this morning.
According to him, the vehicle Nukre was travelling with collided with a truck at Tesano.
“Nukre was in a taxi heading towards Asofa when a truck collided into their car. The driver did not die, he survived but I do not know his current condition,” Mr Dordzie said.
The body of the artiste, he said has been deposited to the police morgue.
Nukre has a wife and daughter, who are currently blown by the news of the sudden demise of the artiste.
His last song featured dancehall goddess, Ak Songstress and is titled “Obinom.”
