The 21st edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards opened today in Accra with more than ten artistes winning Laurels for their exploit.
The awards which brought to you by Vodafone and produced by Charter house saw Sarkodie winning the best international collaboration with Kofi Kinaata wining best writer of the year.
It also recognised Burna Boy for the second time as the African artiste of the year while Gospel musician Celestine Donkor took the female Vocalist crown from the head of Efya.

In her acceptance address, Celestine Donkor showed appreciation to all those who helped her and her career as a musician.
She urged young musicians to strive hard and never give up.
“This is my first time of winning VGMA, I always sit there seeing other artistes winning awards but God’s time is the best. I am speechless, I thank all my fans and those who supported me in prayers,” Celestine Donkor added.
