The Broken Marriage Vow Episode 20 David abused Jill, Jill plans a revenge against David
Jill dragged Gio into the car and David rushed to stop Jill but Jill sped off and he followed her with his car. As he was chasing her, another car blocked David. Gio was emotionally affected by the fight between his mother and father.
Gio wondered what they were fighting for, after all they were separated and had been fighting in court for the annulment. They reached a spot and almost had an accident. She pulled over and Gio came out of the car.
His mother followed him and he told her how he was affected by everything that was going on between her and his father. He was against his mother for depriving him of speaking with his father. He raised concern about Jill not asking for his opinion concerning his custody but wanted to be the one to have complete custody of him.
Jill asked if he wanted to be with his father. Gio claimed there were things he did with his father that he could not do with her and blamed her for his father’s cheating habit. According to him, Jill was always busy giving his father a reason to cheat.
Jill was shocked to hear that from her son. She explained that she was the breadwinner and David was always at home simply because he had no project to work on, unlike her who had to work extra harder to provide for the family and at the end David had spent all the money she saved including the trust fund she saved for Gio.
Her son still was not moved by his mother’s words but kept making Jill sad to an extent that she reached out for scissors from her car trunk in an attempt to stab herself. She approached Gio and in fear of his mother stabbing him, he fell off a cliff.
As the mother and son issue was escalating, David arrived in Jill’s house and opened the door with the spare keys he had but so no one home.
Jill arrived home and Carol saw her worried face. She tried to know if she could be of help to her but Jill did not mind her.
She went inside to find David there. David demanded to see his son and she said Gio was with Grace but he called her and he was not there. He demanded Gill to return his son. Jill claimed Gio was deàd and gave him a strand of hair that it was the only thing she had of him.
Jill blamed him for everything that happened in the family. She had better plans for them and even planned a trip that they would give Gio a younger sibling but David blew all away. She wondered when David would have man up to tell her about his affair.
David admitted he had an affair and was planning to tell her when he had made enough money and Gio had grown enough but he warned her to leave the past behind and show him his son. Jill kept insisting that his son was deàd and would never return. She preferred her son to d!e than to be a monster like him.
In devastation, David stepped out and bumped into Gio. His son was not ready to see him. He wondered what Jill told him and he came to question her. He also asked why she claimed their son was deàd. Jill made it clear that she would not hurt her own son. David had a fight with Jill over Gio.
Lexy got there and found out that Diane, her friend was rather a spy for Dr Jill and slapped her for lying to her just to fish out information for Jill. Diane warned her not to act innocent. She went inside and Diane followed her there. Lexy stopped David from attacking Jill and sent him home.
She told David to sign the marriage annulment and allow sleeping dogs to lie. David was not ready to allow Jill to have her way to own the full custody of Gio. The friends of Gio came to ask him to go out with them. Jill allowed it and Diane took it upon herself to send them to a mall.
As they left, David called Jill to threaten that he would not leave his son with her. Jill did not understand him. She had given him the house and the rest of the savings, all she wanted was for him to sign the divorce papers but David said he wouldn’t. Jill threatened to go far away with her son. This got David upset so he rushed to her house to cause trouble with her.
He began to slap and beat her. He strangled her when Jill said he was just like his father and his mother had even regretted giving birth to her. Jill even described him as worse than his father. That got into him and shoved Jill for her to hit the bars. Blood oozed from her nostrils and lost consciousness.
That did not deter David. He kicked her and stepped on her multiple times. Meanwhile, Gio left his friends since he was having bad feelings. He rushed home to find his mother unconscious. Carol who had also been suspecting the chaos appeared there and called an ambulance as well as the police to arrest David.
Gio was upset with David. The police arrested him and when he was being sent away, Lexy got there and saw him. She followed him to the precinct. Jill was rushed to the hospital and Gio did not want to leave her sight even when Sandy told him to follow Carol home to rest.
Later, Jill regained consciousness and wanted David to pay for his actions. At the precinct, Lexy asked David why he did that to Jill. He claimed he did not mean what he did but he took a few bottles. Jill talked to her Attorney and told him to take everything she gave him from him.
Lexy brought the attorney of David and she preempted the possible charges that Jill could slap him with.
