DongYan bags two prestigious awards at the 2024 Box Office Entertainment awards
Kapuso stars, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes on Sunday bagged home two of the biggest recognitions at the Box Office Entertainment awards.
DongYan received the Box-Office Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema and Most Popular Loveteam for Movies awards for their comeback film, “Rewind.”

As the Kapuso Primetime King was also named the Film Actor of the Year for “Rewind,” the film also bagged several awards including Most Popular Film Director (Mae Cruz-Alviar), Most Popular Screenwriter (Enrico Santos), and Most Popular Film Producer (APT Entertainment, Agosto Dos Pictures, and Star Cinema).
In January, “Rewind” made history as the first Filipino film to surpass P900 million at the box office.
“Rewind” marked DongYan’s return to the big screen after his last project was 2010’s “You to Me Are Everything.”

The story followed a couple whose marriage hit the rocks as a tragedy compelled the characters to live in a time-loop.
The Box Office Entertainment Awards was held on Sunday at the Henry Irwin Lee Theatre in Ateneo de Manila University.
Among the winners were Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo as Box Office King and Queen respectively and Piolo Pascual as the Film Actor of the year for his movie Mallari.
