Empress Gifty dares pastors to reject tithes of secular musicians
Sensational gospel musician, Empress Gifty Adorye has challenged men of God and Christians who have been judging secular musicians to reject their tithes and offertory in church.
According to her, judging them and accepting their offerings does not sound.
Speaking in an interview with Max Morning Show in Accra on Thursday, the “Jesus Over Do” hitmaker stated that there was no need for those pastors against secular musicians to accept and keep their offertory and tithes if they clearly knew the musicians were spearheading the agenda of the devil.
She dared them to return and reject their monetary contributions in anything pertaining to the work of God “since darkness and light do not meet.”
Empress Gifty said this on the backdrop of some Christians claiming her new hit track “Watch Me” was not spiritually inclined since it was written and composed by the Rockstar, Kuami Eugene.
“Then the offertory those secular musicians offer in their various churches and the tithes they pay should be rejected by the pastors. Yes, they should return their money because they (secular musicians) pay their tithes,” she dared.
Empress Gifty emphasised that Kuami Eugene was gifted by God and even as a secular musician, he had proven his christian mantle through his song writing skills and did not merit any unpleasant judgement.
“Those people that we judge them, they know God. I have been with a couple of them and some even play keyboards at church. You don’t joke with such people,” she added.
