Fans will kill me if I release a lullaby— Rihanna reacts to a yet to be released song

Renowned singer and beauty mogul, Rihanna has said her fans will kill her if she releases lullaby instead of real music to entertain them after a long wait.

According to her, plans are far advanced to release a new track and will be a disaster if fans wake up to hear lullabies.

The 33-year-old singer said this in an interview with the media on Wednesday at the launch of her latest Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin products in America.

Rihanna, pregnant with her first child with rapper A$AP Rocky, confirmed that she would be releasing new music soon and asked fans to be on the look out, stressing that pregnancy would not stop her from releasing new song to entertain them.

“Well, yes… You’re still going to get music from me,” she said.

When asked whether she would be releasing lullabies now that she was into motherhood, Rihanna indicated that her fans deserved better than lullabies.

“Oh my goodness, not a lullaby. My fans will kill me that they waited this long for a lullaby!” she joked back.

The last released music of the “Work” hitmaker was in 2016 which she released an album dubbed: “ANTI” which became a certified hit.

Meanwhile, Rihanna announced her pregnancy late last month wearing a long pink jacket that showed off her baby bump.

“It’s a long nine to 10 months. You have to enjoy it,” she said of incorporating fashion into her pregnancy.

“I’m trying to enjoy it as much as I could. And fashion is one of my favourite things, so, you know, we’re defying what it even means to be pregnant and maternal,” she continued, adding with a laugh, “It can get uncomfortable at times and so you can dress the part and pretend.”

“I’m just excited for what I don’t know yet. Everything is new to me,” Rocky said. “So, I’m excited.”
