It is foolishness to preach Christ to ex lover—Rev Azigiza Jnr

The Leader and founder of Citizen  Fellowship Church, Reverend Azigiza Jnr has cautioned Christians to stay away from their ex lovers who are conformed to things of the world to the extent of not including them in their evangelical work.

According to him, it is mere foolishness to preach Christ to one’s ex, stressing that the devil use evangelism with ex lovers to trap Christians.

Speaking in a media interview in Accra, the former hiplife musician and Disc Jockey (DJ), Rev Azigiza Jnr noted that Christians did not have any obligation to be converting their ex to accept Christ as their personal Lord and saviour.

He said salvation was key and there was the need for people to preach salvation to others, adding that it would be a trap for one to try saving an ex to adopt their beliefs in God.

“Anyone you have dated knows where to touch for you to fall, my best work I can do is to stay in my closet and pray for them that God will make someone go and preach to them but I will not go there to do it,” Rev Azigiza added.

He further stated that many Christians have fallen into such trap and now they could not stand upright in spirit, hence the need to resist the devil by not presenting one body to an ex with an excuse of preaching to the person.

“It is one’s spirit that becomes born again and not their mind and body, therefore, it will be an act of foolishness to take the body to your ex to preach,” Rev Azigiza added.

Using the scenario of Adam and Eve, he said Adam who was strong in spirit fell to the woman and ate the forbidden apple, thus he stated that the body of a man is always weak.

He charged men and humans to be vigilant and take heed before they fall from their spiritual realm all in the name of winning soul to God.

Rev Azigiza insisted that not all souls could be won by a particular person, stressing  that “some souls have to be won by different people.”
