‎Gangs Of Manila Episode 40 Tanggol goes job hunting, Augustus receives his promotion, Saverino ambushed Rigor to retrieve the meth

‎In the morning, Tanggol and his friends after taking their shower and leaving the house saw Efren sweeping.

‎They said they were going to search for a job so Effren went to call Berting. Berting was glad that the boys wanted to fix their lives and wished them good luck.

‎Rigor was led by Mendoza and some cops to surrender the drugs. Unbeknownst, Saverino was keeping tabs on them and once he spotted Rigor leaving in a police car, Saverino signaled his henchmen on the motorcycle to cross the police car.

‎Elsewhere, Tanggol and his friends stumbled on an eatery and applied for a job but looking at them the woman said there was no vacancy since they might eat more than they should.

‎Saverino and his henchmen engaged in a shøøtout with Rigor and Mendoza. Mendo took the briefcase due to the hand injury of Rigor.

‎During the shøøtout, the briefcase containing the meth fell, giving Saverino and his henchmen hope to retrieve it.

‎Fortunately or unfortunately, the backup Mendo called arrived. Rigor used his skills well to shøøt in his bid to clear the road to retrieve the briefcase.

‎Mendo backed him up for them to escape in the police car to flee with the meth. Saverino and the henchmen were compelled to retreat.

‎As Rigor submitted the briefcase, he requested to be reinstated and Colonel Suarez said he had already  endorsed his reinstatement to the higher ranks.

‎Colonel was sure the drugs were high grade ones and was expensive that was why the syndicate ambushed him. Rigor asked if there was a standard to secure a high grade meth but there was no any.

‎Colonel Suarez called Augustus to inform him about the submission of the drugs and asked about the appeal to reinstate Rigor. Augustus assured that he was working on that. The news made Dimaguiba happy.

‎At the hospital, Mokang asked for her leave to go to work. Her mother hugged her and told her to be careful.

‎In her attempt to take her revenge on the Montenegros, Olga visited the market and tried winning Marites and Tindeng over. She bought their goods and even requested more.

‎Knowing very well that the family was poor and could not offer the quantity she was requesting for. She was quick to propose to offer them a loan to expand their business with a small interest rate.

‎Olga introduced herself to Tes and Tindeng as Den. She promised to return to them to buy more statues. She went into her car and told her goons that her plans worked and vowed to make them pay for making her lose her son.

General Pacheco received his promotion and Supremo watched it on television. He made Lucio send a message that they were taking 30million for the drügs and once he returned home, he showed the threatening  message to Amanda.

Amanda suspected that Angkong had told a business  enemy that General Pacheco was behind the illegal drüg business but the corrupt officer had his hunch.

He made a call to fish out those released from prison with parole. Amanda went to a private place to think about whether Primo was the one who was behind the threat and felt sorry for Primo, knowing the extent Augustus could go to bury his secret.

‎Augustus received the requested documents and confirmed his hunch about Primo. Elsewhere, Supremo was also poised to make his enemies, most especially Amanda pay for the suffering he endured all those years in prison.

‎Tanggol and his friends stumbled on a certain eatery and wanted to apply for a job if there was a vacancy but the owner demanded a degree and high school cert but they did not have any of that.

‎They realised that they did not fit since they could not even speak English. Chicky led Mokang to the new bar that Mama Janeth was teaching the girls how to dance.

‎She apologised to Mokang for what Banjo tried to do to her and accepted to work with her in the new bar but under a condition that she would not tag along Tanggol.

‎Selene, the star dancer began to have troubles with Mokang and Chicky in the dressing room. While Mokang apologised, Chicky found Selene disrespectful and told Mokang not to apologise.

‎Meanwhile, Tanggol and his group had gone to all the available jobs, including where they make leather work and construction, yet there was no vacancy.

‎One proposed that they should return to their old lives since trying to be good was not paying off. Tanggol advised them not to give up because returning to the robbery would turn Mokang against him.

‎He wanted a decent job to win Mokang over and the group accepted. They decided to search further. Mokang changed herself and hit the dancefloor.

‎Because it was her first time, she couldn’t deliver well making Selene and her two friends make fun of her but Chicky knew that Mokang would pick up and outshine the girls.

‎In the precinct, Mendoza saw that Rigor was bleeding after he submitted the drugs and told him to go to a certain room to get treated.

‎As Rigor was there, Lena arrived and pleaded with him for her act at the hospital. She promised to conceal whatever they had.

‎Mendo arrived and was hopeful that Rigor would be reinstated. Lena saw the submission of the drügs as a clean opportunity to file in his promotional request.

‎Elsewhere, Augustus received a text from the person who hijacked his meth and showed the message to Amanda for them to prepare to meet the person at the scheduled time.

‎Knowing Primo might be behind it, Amanda found it difficult to follow Augustus. She was scared that Primo’s life might be endangered.

‎Mokang went to the changing room when Mama Janeth came to inform them that she was leaving and told Chicky to keep an eye on Mokang so that she did not screw up.
