Ghana’s creative art industry hit by death of Eddie Nartey’s wife
Ghanaian film producer and actor, Eddie Nartey has announced the sudden demise of his wife, Vida Danso who died recently after stricken by an unknown ailment.
Announcing it today on his Instagram page, the actor bemoaned that he was in constant pain and could not bring himself to mourn a woman who he married three years ago.

“I don’t know what to say, I don’t know what to feel. I am just in constant pain,” he cried.
Although Edie Nartey did not reveal the day which his wife passed away but he wished her farewell, adding that God knew what was best.
“Rest well my Habibi. God Knows Best,” he bemoaned.
The “wedlock of the gods” actor prayed for strength in order to carry on in life without his wife.
My wife keeps me focused
Eddie Nartey after marrying his wife on September 22, 2018 has been drumming home the need for a man to tie the knot.
In an earlier interview with Delay after his marriage encouraged men to marry.
He said marrying a good woman makes one focused contrary to the popular believe that marriage restricts people from being themselves and leaving in freedom and independence.
“Marriage actually helps people to be focused on their lives and choices,” Eddie Nartey lauded his wife.
He said after he got married, he realised there were a lot of decisions that he was making as a single person that was not beneficial.
But with a good woman, he was able to stay focused on his business, cut off unproductive friends and lifestyle.
“A good woman makes you focused, you tend to put a stop to the unnecessary lifestyle you used to live.”
A good woman will draw your attention to certain things you used to do when you were single, that you have not even paid attention to. It depends on the individual but as for me, marriage is good for me,” Eddie Nartey explained.
The actor who is the Head of Zylofon Art Club after breaking the news of his spouse deaths attracted words of condolences from colleague actors and fans of the actor.
Reacting to the news, actress Nana Ama McBrown dropped on a comment on his post saying “ohhhh Soulja. My condolences.”
Actor cum politician, John Dumelo added that “My condolences bro” with Kafui Danku expressing shock about the news.
“OMG! May the Lord be your strength Eddie,” she cried.

Before the demise of Vida Danso, she and her husband appeared on McBrown’s kitchen, a television cooking show on United Television (UTv) where they cooked and showered each other with kisses and hugs.
