Renowned filipino celebrity couple, Dominic Roque and Bea Alonzo have debunked claims that they have broken up.
According to a joint statement released by the couple on Sunday February 11, the breakup story is false and expresses the need for the public to respect their privacy.

The couple observed that there were many speculations, questions, and insults targeted at them after they announced their preparations for their wedding this year.
“Unfortunately, some even confirmed our breakup without our consent, and some created ridiculous stories that had no basis and were utterly false,” their statement said.
Based on the false speculations, the couple said they were cancelling their wedding plans to maintain their peace of mind as they forged ahead.
“So we felt the need to share this announcement with great sadness for our peace of mind, and for our families,” it said.
The statement further indicated it was an extremely painful yet a united decision “and we sincerely request for everyone to kindly spare us from more cruel and very hurtful words thrown on social media.”
“We kindly request to give us the privacy we need as we navigate our future lives with respect, kindness, compassion and with dignity,” it added.
It could be recalled that the actor who doubles as a business man, early this year, revealed his decision to marry colleague Bea Alonzo and start a family with her right away this year.
He stated that the marriage would be a Christian wedding and in the early January, they forged ahead and had met both families to start the necessary protocols to invite guests from their families and friends.
Meanwhile, some close sources had confirmed that Dominic had since been doing everything to straighten his crooked relationship with Bea.
