Betrayal (Halik) Episode 91 Lino and Gio form forces against Jade and Ace
While Jade and CJ were sleeping, Ace entered the room and went through the bag of Jade. He took her passport and place it back in.
In the Bartolome residence, Lino expressed how desperate he was to reunite with his son. Dolor was not happy with Lino’s action while he knew Ace acts inhumane. Lino wanted to trust in the judicial system but his problem was how long it would take.
Dolor had realised Jade would never change, she was bitter now than before. Lino knowing the nature of his estranged wife explained the reason why he never fell for Jade’s acts once she posed of as a change person.
Maggie felt it was in appropriate for Jade to use CJ to get what she wanted. She later told Bogs about her willingness to help Lino and wondered if he could accept.
The next day, Ace ordered for breakfast and gave Jade a card of his friend who would help her secure passport for CJ. Ace convinced Jade that if she wanted to be with her son then they had to travel.
Maggie joined Lino to meet her friend, Lino was surprised to see Gio as the friend Maggie told him about.
Meanwhile, Dolor met Tet to plead with her to testify against Jade. She gladly accepted since to her, CJ would be better off with Lino than with Jade.
She also mentioned Marissa as another person who would help them. However, during an official duty in a restaurant, Marissa spotted Jade passing.
She ran after Jade and asked her to be her friend again. Jade accepted under a condition that Marissa would be her witness and testify against Lino in court, which Marissa accepted.
Lino was upset with the presence of Gio and walked out. Maggie followed him and pleaded with him to give Gio a chance to talk with him since he was not like his brother.
Jade while bathing heard CJ crying so she wanted Ace to check CJ. Ace who barely heard Jade went to the washroom, Jade got offended that Ace was watching her nakedness. She sacked him but Ace still stayed around.
Gio visited Ace in his new condo to have a drink with him. He told him that he had an argument with Paeng and wanted them to drink.
Unknown to Ace, Gio had teamed with Lino to help him reunite with his son. In there, as Ace wanted them to keep their voices down, Jade unfortunately stepped in and Gio acted to be surprised.
He took a chance to text Lino and inform Lino that Jade was staying with his brother. He also assured him that CJ was fine and would take it from there.
However, Helen was suspecting that Ace was going out with a another woman since he hardly visited Paeng and her.
Baste and Jacky met and she showed her the files. Jacky decided to ask her father about it to hear his side of the story.
Baste doubted Mauro would tell her the truth but Jacky assured that he would since he has now changed and was more open to her after his ailment.
Jade blamed Ace for not alerting him that Gio was there. She was scared that Gio would inform their parents about it for Helen to get back at her.
Ace assured her that Gio would do no such thing, adding that he was trustworthy.
Gio told Lino that he would go out the next day with Jade to the hospital and promised to do something to be left with CJ for Lino to meet his son.
Jacky got to Dos Disenyos to meet Baste, she spoke with Lino and he told her that Gio was helping him to meet CJ.
Jacky was scared that Gio would get into trouble should Ace or his parent find out that Gio was his ally.
She asked Lino to think about it she then went with Baste. Gio kept his promise and managed to get Jade to the mall where he also convinced Jade to buy CJ his medicine since he might not buy the right medicine.
After their messages, Lino who almost ran into Jade hid quickly and met Gio. He was so happy to be reunited with CJ.
Jade was however, fighting in the mall since the queue in the mall pharmacy was long and wanted to beat those in the queue to it. She later called Gio but he failed to pick since he wanted Lino to have a good time with his son.
Jacky showed Mauro the files but he asked how she got it. He turned and saw Baste, Jacky tried calming her father but least did she know that Mauro wanted to ask Baste forgiveness for his action.
She was surprised to hear her dad saying sorry to Baste. Jade got our of the queue to call Gio since she was worried. Gio finally received the call and told Jade that CJ was sleeping.
As Lino was playing with CJ, he was laughing so Jade overhead the baby’s laughter, but Gio said it was a baby from a different table. He said he was making food order and Jade asked him to order some for her.
Gio after the call wanted to go with the baby but Lino did the unthinkable and went against their plan. He ran away with CJ. Gio who ran after him pleaded with him that he might run into trouble with Ace but Lino took a taxi and left with the baby.
Meanwhile, Mauro was glad to see the files since it had been something that he himself was trying to find out but could not get the answers.
After seeing those files he said he had now understood his long time quest and thanked Baste for helping Jacky even when he hurt her.
Jacky saw the files as evidence they could use to support their case against the Corpuzes to win the board of Montecorp to their side. She added that she would give it to Ken.
Jade who had been searching everywhere for Gio finally saw him sitting somewhere at the mall drinking. She was upset that Gio did not meet her at the agreed meeting place.
Gio made up excuse and Jade wanted to see her son. She saw CJ in his stroller while Lino viewed them from afar. A flashback showed that as the taxi was going, Lino rescinded on his decision and made the driver pulled over for him to return CJ.
As Jade and Gio were leaving the mall, Lino promised to be reunited with CJ once the court grant him the power to do so. He said sorry to his son for not having the courage to become selfish like Jade to keep him.
