Jericho Rosales reveals why he went on hiatus for six years
Well acclaimed Filipino actor, Jericho Rosales has attributed his six years hiatus from the industry to things which were not going on well in the movie space.
According to him, he fought many stakeholders in the industry leading to his burnout from the entertainment scenes.
The “Lavender Fields” lead star said this to the media in a recent interview.

“Before this, there was so much anger in me.You try to force things. You want people to cooperate. You keep fighting. Every actor can relate to these. I’m one of those who complained about the industry, about the long hours, about soap operas and directors and coactors. I complained nonstop and then, burnout happened,” he stated.
The 44-year-old actor said he then laid back from the industry and turned out many acting projects until he was sure to return.
“Then you realize, if you want something so bad, then don’t be afraid to go for it. That’s what I did. It took me six years to do it. I said ‘no’ to so many projects. I had to explain this to so many people,” he explained.
Rosales further stated that during the time of his burnout he relied on his ex-wife Kim Jones, whom he referred to as “a good friend of mine” and his therapist to overcome his challenge.

In moving forward, Rosales announced new projects with Star Cinema which would move grounds next year.
“I’m determined to carry on. It’s a new chapter. It’s a new perspective. I’m very excited. I will be working on some projects by myself after ‘Lavender Fields,’ to be shot next year. Star Cinema has just pitched to me and I already said I’m interested. They’re working on that, too,” he added.
