Kidi drops much anticipated ‘Golden Boy Album’ today 

Multi award winning singer, Kidi known in private life as Dennis Nana Dwamena, has finally released his much anticipated album, dubbed: “The Golden Boy.”

The album which was released today has 14 songs and saw artistes including Joey B, Kuami Eugene and Nigerian music superstar Patoranking featured on it.

Prior to the release of the album, KiDi held a private listening party on Wednesday in Kwahu, where he performed a number of singles on“The Golden Boy” album to usher its release.

Kidi in an interview said the album was to serve his fans who were waiting to jam on his songs, stressing that the 14-tracks entailed highlife, afrobeat and other danceable genres that would sent fans and music lovers into the groove.

Meanwhile, Kidi has explained his reason for naming his third album “Golden Boy”.

According to him, he had two names in mind, namely “DANGEROUS” and “GOLDEN BOY”.

He explained that he initially wanted to name the album “Dangerous” but was confused and had to sleep over it and pray on which Title appropriate for the album.

Kidi claimed that he woke up the next morning with God urging him to choose “GOLDEN BOY” thus the name.

The Lynx Entertainment signee indicated that the album was his third album and it comes after the release of Sugar in 2019 and Blue in 2020.

“Golden Boy, I really want this album to make a mark not just in Ghana but in Africa, worldwide. I want people to hear my name, I want my name to grow, my sound to grow and my numbers to grow.”

“I am really hoping this Golden Boy project takes me to the next level of my career.” he added.
