A Family Affair Episode 8 Dave inherits the Estrellas’ fortune, Paco to contest the will and testament of Don Freddie
In bed, Paco was making lōve to Cherry but he couldn’t go further. He was still in tears due to his father’s sudden demise. Cherry understood him and allowed him to mourn.
The following day, Becca asked Coleen if she knew whether Cherry had been in a relationship with Dave before. Coleen claimed not to be aware of that and asked Becca the reason for her question.

Becca claimed Dave was consistently mentioning Cherry’s name in his dreams. Coleen believed it might be a dream and nothing serious. Becca grew suspicious of the entire thing.
Becca tried fishing out the truth from Dave himself but Dave used his mourning mood as an excuse to cover up the reason he was mentioning Cherry’s name in his sleep. Becca accused him of how he remained silent whenever Cherry was around but Dave walked out on her.
After days of mourning, finally, the family prepared for the reading of the will and testament of Don Freddie. Thinking her husband, Seb would inherit a fortune from his father’s wealth, Coleen dressed in her white apparel. Looking so gorgeous and headed to the mansion with her husband.
Becca and Dave also went and Cherry and Paco were also present. The lawyer came to read the will. It came with a video in which Don Freddie apologized to his sons about the over 50,000 billion investment he did which did not yield.

Dave ordered the Attorney to pause the video and asked Paco about that investment and almost ended up a fight between the two. Dave urged the lawyer to play and Don Freddie said he only had the ranch to give out and he gave all the ranch to Dave.
Paco got upset and hit Dave for inheriting the ranch. Coleen was not happy either. Paco left and Dave went out as he was shocked over inheriting the ranch. Drew approached him and told him that he knew their father left the ranch in his care as a means to cover up their family truth.
Drew stated that their father feared that after his deàth, Dave would see no need to keep the truth anymore so wanted him to keep the truth for the family to stay united. Dave made it clear that he saw the need to keep the truth because he lõved Drew and didn’t want him to suffer but since he had mentioned that, he would know what to do with the truth.
He warned Drew not to be a bad boy. Coleen told her husband to talk to Dave to share the ranch with him because he was equally an Estrella and deserved part of the inheritance.

Paco went to drink his head off and recalled his father telling them that when he d!ëd, he would leave his watch to the most deserving son. At that time, he was working in the ranch and had helped one of the cattle to deliver.
He had no doubts that Dave was his father’s favourite son and most deserving son to have inherited everything that he had worked so hard for. Cherry was searching for her husband and bumped into Dave. It was late so Dave helped him to search for Paco.
Meanwhile, Becca was also searching for Dave and saw Drew. She asked Drew if he knew where Dave was but he did not know. The servant of the house told Becca that Dave followed Cherry out of the ranch. Becca grew more suspicious of her boyfriend and Dave.
Cherry told Dave that he deserved to own the ranch and his father did the right thing by giving the ranch to him. Dave was sad that Paco was so upset about it. Cherry sent Dave to a certain tree where she believed Paco might be there but he wasn’t.

One of the ranch workers came to inform them that Paco was at the stables drinking. They rushed there and Paco hit Dave. He attacked Dave for owning the ranch. Dave even hit the floor. He accused Dave of manipulating his way to gain the inheritance and was not ready to submit to Dave.
He planned to contest the will. Cherry tried calming Paco. She sent her husband home to clean him up. Paco revealed his intentions of not working under Dave and he would resign.
Cherry reminded him of his dreams for the workers of the ranch and made him know that Dave would take good care of the ranch and since they were brothers, he had to support Dave to build whatever their father left.
Paco insisted on resigning and setting up his own business and would also pack out of the place to go to Iloilo with her. The following day, the ranch workers heard the rumors that Dave inherited the ranch and told Paco about their fears of Dave sacking them.
They were all rooting for Paco to inherit the ranch because he had worked there throughout his life while Dave stayed in the state. They feared that Dave would act like a certain guy from the nearest town whose father left his ranch in his care but after his father’s deàth, the boy sold everything and the lands around.
Paco assured that Dave wouldn’t do such a thing and promised to fight Dave to gain everything, if Dave ever did that. Dave for the first time went to work as the boss of Cuatro Estrella and officially greeted his workers.
Soon after, Drew came over and had a perfect plan to help their business to grow and requested for Dave to hire him a position at the Cuatro Estrella.
Dave accepted but wanted them to have a family meeting to talk about it and decide on that. He made Drew call their brothers for a meeting. At that time, Coleen was also upset about the bar business that Seb was busy running.
She was not content with the money they were making and on several occasions, told him to talk to Dave to make him part and parcel of the inheritance.
She saw Drew calling Seb and she quickly received the call and when she was told about the family meeting at that moment, she was excited and built Seb’s hopes high that Dave would give him part of the inheritance and jumped around in merriment.
They had the family meeting and Dave assured that everything at the ranch would be maintained. He was not planning on replacing the workers and everything would be as it should till he decides on what to do next with the ranch.
