Most Christians who speak in tongues are chronic fornicators— Empress Gifty shades Cecilia Marfo
Gospel musician, Empress Gifty Adorye has charged Ghanaians to condemn Christians who hide behind the manifestation of the holy spirit to do evil against their fellows.
According to her, most Christians who speak in tongues are chronic fornicators and are not doers of God’s word.
Expressing her displeasure about some hypocritical attitudes of some Christians on her Facebook page, the “Jesus Over do” hitmaker explained that lots of harm were being fuelled by Christians who were faking to be righteous at the sight of people.
She advised the public to be vigilant and not be misled by those who appear to be holy, stressing that most of them were hypocrites and were faking.
“Just because the person comes and starts speaking in tongues or wearing a head scarf does not make the person a spiritual filled person. Spirit filled people know how to apply wisdom to their actions. You don’t go about Prophesying anyhow just because you are in the mood. You need to make sure the timing is right, and the place is convenient,” Empress Gifty stated.

She indicated that the action of Cecilia Marfo, a musician who is now a prophetess was nothing godly and if it should be condoned the time that Ghanaians realised she would have caused irreparable damage to her fellows.
She noted that Cecilia Marfo through her disguise as a holy ghost filled person was causing harm to others than good, thus urged Ghanaians to open their eyes.
To her, there is no righteous person is in the world, adding that “Cecilia Marfo cannot say her marriage is perfect.”
Empress Gifty noted that Joyce Blessing was now gathering the pieces from her brokenheart and was not prudent for the “Afunumuba” hitmaker to remind her of her pains and sorrows during a moment she was ministering.
