Betrayal (Halik) Episode 67 Lino warns Gio from courting Maggie
At Dos Disenyos, Lino’s workers approached him to talk about Mr Tankers order. Lino looked at it and he told them that he would confirm from Jacky.
He called Jacky to ask about the specific date to deliver the order and realised Jacky was in a hospital.
He asked Jacky and she said she sent Mauro to hospital since he took over dose of a particular pill.
After getting to the house, Marissa asked Jade if she should send her to a hospital, Jade refused and Marissa insisted that she was looking pale.
Dolor came to meet them and ask her why she was looking pale. Jade said she went to Montecorp to ask Gio to stop courting Maggie.
Maggie came to meet Jade saying that and she asked Jade whether she wanted to date Gio, someone much younger than her.
Jade declined the claim, saying she wanted to help her since Gio was the younger brother of Ace and was a Corpuz.
Maggie insisted that they had solved that issue. Meanwhile, Lino went to the hospital to find Yohan holding Jacky. He looked at them for a while and he called out Jacky’s name. Jacky suddenly left Yohan and went to hug Lino. Yohan watched them quietly.
Dolor told Maggie that she was crossing the line. Ed was stopping Maggie from attacking Jade, she then walked out of them to go inside. Yohan told Lino that the doctor said Mauro wanted to kill himself.
Lino explained that Mauro did that because those he trusted had abandoned him but Jacky, the person he hated was the one taking care of him.
Gio received a text from Maggie that he was a liar and a loser adding that he should not show his face to her. Gio who was sitting behind a computer was devastated after reading the text and left.
Lino got home and Dolor told her that Maggie discovered something about her suitor. Maggie sat somewhere to cry, Bogs went to see her crying and sat by her side.
Lino after learning the truth wanted to go to the Corpuz’s mansion to cause trouble but Dolor stopped her.
Gio got to the Bartolome mansion and Lino attacked him, he hit his stomach. Gio explained that he has good intentions towards Maggie.
Dolor sent him inside and gave him a glass of water. Gio said sorry to them and explained that he lied because he was scared of losing Maggie.
Dolor insisted that Gio was sorry and asked Lino to calm down and not act like the Corpuzes.
Lino said he was lucky that he had Dolor by his side but he would never get Maggie. Lino warned him not to set foot in the house.
Meanwhile, Helen told Ace to go the house of the Bartolomes to bring back his brother home but he refused.
Lino told Gio that what he did would affect Maggie and would never forget the lies of Gio. Dolor saw Gio off.
Bogs sent Maggie home and his mother received Maggie with so much joy. He gave her a place to spend the night.
Gio got home and Ace scolded him that his absence had made Helen confronted him. Gio admitted being in the house of the Bartolomes. He told Ace that he went to apologise for the wrong they did to Lino’s family.
Ace got upset and Gio said the Lino he hated was someone Ace would never be and wished Lino was his brother instead. They almost fought and Gio headed to his room while Ace pledged to himself to make Lino pay for all he did against him.
Jacky’s friends got to the hospital to keep her company but they later realised Jacky had never been alone after Yohan got in with a coffee. Ken asked him to get them sandwiches and he decided to buy it for them even though Jacky tried refraining him from going.
Bogs received a call from Lino to ask whether Maggie was with him. He said yes and asked Lino if he would pick her up. Lino said he would pick her up the next day and urged Bogs to take care of Maggie together with his mother.
Mauro woke up and Jacky asked him why he took over dose and he said it was a mistake, explaining that he was not $tupid to fail in killing himself.
Jacky asked if he has given up. in daring his stepfather to see the need for him to keep fighting for life, she went on to ask if he would leave the company he has worked so hard for all these years to Paeng and Ace.
Jacky asked if it was because of her that was why he wanted to get rid of her that was why he was given up and dared him to get on his feet first then he could drag her away until then she would not be out of his sight.
Yohan brought Jacky home and he also talked about his sick father and how he has making it difficult for him to help him recover. They said good night to eachother. Yohan went to stand in the corridor laughing. Jacky who was overwhelmed with her new found l*ve later got out to see Yohan and they once again said goodnight.
The next day in Bogs house, Maggie prepared breakfast, Lino went there to get her. On the way Lino told his sister that he knew how she was feeling after being left brokenhearted.
He wondered why they kept falling for liars. He consoled his sister. At Dos Disenyos, Gio got in and Ace stopped the ongoing presentation, saying his brother was a spy for Dos Disenyos and tried sending him out but Gio did not go he faced Ace and Aliyah stepped in.
Lino explained that he once failed to explain things to Jacky when he was backing out of his relationship with her. He said he chose his family over Jacky a mistake that he said had contributed to his failed marriage.
He blamed himself, saying he broke Jacky’s heart and in the process hurt Jade.
Lino said if he had listened to Jade what had happened to him would not have happened. He told Maggie to explain things to Gio if she wanted to breakup.
Maggie felt comforted and embraced Lino.
