Seth Fedelin in hot waters over sexualisation comment against ex Andrea Brillantes
A young talented Filipino actor, Seth Fedelin has been under heavy criticism after allegedly liking a comment targeted at ex-girlfriend Andrea Brillantes.
Recently, a critic in a comment described Fedelin love team mate Andrea as a bold person to have associated herself with the young stars while she was in sëxüal relationship with numerous men.
Under the vlog titled: “Samgyup with Ali” uploaded on Fedelin’s YouTube account in October 2021, a now deleted comment about Brillantes surfaced.
The comment read: “It is not appropriate for Andrea to join the new young stars. Andrea is a bold star associated with numerous men in various sexual relationships.”
Some social media users took it to social media to express their concern about Fedelin’s act, with most criticising the actor, while some gave him the benefit of a doubt.
One of the social media users claimed that Fedelin wielded an influence and his act could sexualise Andrea.
“Andrea aside, she’s petty. Terrible. He should know that he is a man of influence, so what he does, there is and there is influence. So what’s this, he’s influencing people to hate on Andrea and sexualise her? Canal habit. Imagine what we would have done without Andrea,” ranted one user.
Another said: “I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt, if only one comment was liked, maybe it was just clicked or he didn’t like it himself.”
However, Fedelin’s official fans club announced that the Kapamilya actor reportedly no longer had access to the said account, charging people not to believe everything they see or read on the internet without fact-checking first.
“Hi, everyone! This is to inform you that Seth Fedelin no longer has access to his YouTube account. Until now, he and his team are still unable to retrieve the account,” they wrote.
After the fans club announcement, one netizen expressed doubt by pointing out that the YouTube account was still part of the actor’s bio on his official Instagram account.
Meanwhile, Fedelin was yet to comment on the issue.
