Love Thy Woman Episode 23 Dana discovers that Michael is Jia and David’s son
At the washroom in Dragon Empire, Amanda subtly fished out information from her gossip colleague. She learnt that Adam did not follow Lucy to Barley in Indonesia and had a plan.
Helen and David arrived at Kai’s house to get to the bottom of the entire baby issue. Kai made it clear she did not have evidence but before Harry left, he had confessed that he sold David and Jia’s child to Lucy. They all suspected the child could be Michael but a DNA test conducted on Michael and Jia proved that Michael was not the child.
Helen doubted if Lucy would live under the same roof with a child which would remind her of Jia and David’s infidelity. Later, Kai spoke with Jia to inform her that Harry has refused to answer her calls. Jia made a video chat with Richie to ask about Harry. She was told Harry was not in Singapore. Jia said there was a huge problem so if he sees her uncle he should inform her right away.
Amanda went to tell Shirley that she wanted to speak with President Wong. Shirley gave excuses but Amanda said she would only take some few minutes. She pleaded that Shirley should fix her in Adam’s meeting for the next day.
Lucy had video call with Manny pleading with him to dispose the original DNA test result. Manny had kept the result in his drawer but was compelled to tear it into pieces to make Lucy happy. However, Manny was sad as his conscience was haunting him for telling Adam lies. Unknown to him, Dana heard everything and saw him tearing the results. She wept for hearing the truth.
Wanting to confirm it, Dana sneaked into Manny’s office that evening when the cleaner was disposing the trash. She ordered the cleaner to send that trash to her, claiming she was working on a recycling project, hence she needed it.
Lucy was paranoid still thinking about what she could do to wipe out the truth about the origin of Michael. She thought of buying the health facility and shut it down so that they would not be able to reproduce a copy of the test to Adam and Jia.
At Dragon Empire Builders, Dana joined the pieces of the DNA result to discover that Michael was Jia’s son. She brooded over the issue and wept bitterly in her room. Michael came over, wondering why she did not go for him in grandpa’s room when she returned from work.
Michael felt sad seeing Dana crying, Dana told him to go and sleep. Michael did not, still wanting to console his mother. Dana hit him with the pillow to remind him to sleep. Michael began to cry and Dana felt sorry, asking him for forgiveness. She cried out loud and told Michael that she was his mummy and made him promise that no matter what he would be with her.
She embraced and asked him not to cry since she has also stopped crying. The next day, Dana looked so down but failed to tell Adam the actual truth. All that she asked Adam on the breakfast table was whether she looked like $tup!d. Adam sensed that the problem had to do with David. Adam decided to drop Michael off in school. In the car going to drop Michael, the boy pleaded with Adam to talk to Dana to make him see his father since Dana listened only to him.
“Grandpa, my mom Dana and aunt Jia are sister’s aren’t they?”
“Yes!” They are both my daughters.”
“But Aunt Jia’s mom ain’t grandma Lucy.”
“Do you have two wives grandpa?”
“Grandma Lucy is my real wife.”
“And what about mummy Kai?
Is she supposed to be your wife as well!”
“Look Michael I will explain everything to you some day when you get older.
You’re just too young to understand some things,” Adam promised.
He later spoke with Dana who was on her way to work, asking her to allow Michael to meet David perhaps once a week. As Adam arrived at the office, Shirley told him that Amanda wanted to have a talk with him and requested ten minutes of his time. Adam told her to tell Amanda to jot everything she wanted to ask down and he would give Shirley his answers to be delivered to her.
Dana bumped into Amanda who was looking all $ultry. Dana learnt that Amanda was married but her husband was late and now she was single ready to mingle. She thought Amanda had a date but she did not care who Amanda was pouncing on at the work place. Amanda believed Dana would care if she got to know.
She rushed to Adam’s office with a bottle of wine to $edu¢e him but he did not give in. A flashback showed that 25years ago in Dragon Empire after a festive celebration, Adam was drunk and could not slide his card so Amanda decided to do it for him and ended up in bed with him. The next day, Adam woke up to find himself in bed with her. Manny came to call Adam for a meeting and realised Adam has had a moment with Amanda.
Flashforward: Adam warned Amanda if she ever comes to his office without his authorisation he would fire her. Soon, Gab and Manny came in and Gab wondered what his mother was doing there. Discovering that Gab was Amanda’s son, Adam subtly asked Gab questions to know if he was his father but Gab said his father’s name was Paco Del Mundo.
When Gab left Adam told Manny that he found it suspicious and conniving when he realised both mother and son were working there but was relieved that Gab was not his son. Carol arrived to her house to find out that Jia and David had visited her. She called Lucy the moment Lucy reached home. As Lucy received the call, her battery di€d and she made her servant charge her phone.
Jia bumped into David and they went to see the seer who gave them hope that they would find their son as the truth would soon be out.
Dana saw her mother and walked out on her. She wondered why her daughter was given her such attitude. She drew closer to Dana, only for her to bother her with the question of the origin of Michael. Lucy tried to flee so Dana followed her and Lucy asked her to join her in the car.
Lucy went out with Dana to reveal the truth to Dana and said by the time she realised Michael was Jia’s son, Dana was attached to him and there was nothing she could do. She said she kept quiet since Dana after suffering from the coma, Michael was the only person who made her happy and sacrificed to live in the same roof with the son of the person she hated all because she wanted to make Dana happy.
Dana saw her always playing the victim without factoring her emotion.
