Stonebwoy is Ghana’s biggest music export— Bullgod

Artist manager Lawrence Asiamah, known in the industry as Bullgod has described Reggae/ Dancehall musician, Stonebwoy as the biggest music export in Ghana.

According to him, since the inception of Osibisa there’s no musician in Ghana who has worked better than Stonebwoy.

Bullgod said this in a zoom interview with the Max Morning Show in Accra on Friday.

“Nobody! No musician in Ghana has worked, worked, worked again better than Stonebwoy. From Osibisa time, the guy is a workaholic. From the inception of music in Ghana, nobody has worked past Stonebwoy. And that’s what set him apart,” he stated.

Bullgod indicated that Stonebwoy was selling Ghana music right and was touring many foreign countries with Ghana music and had no doubt that he would soon bring Grammys to the country because he understood the showbusiness.

He stated that his view about Stonebwoy was not to downplay the effort of his former artist Shatta Wale but he was speaking from an objective perspective.

Bullgod said Stonebwoy had made the nation proud and what amazed him about Stonebwoy was how he singlehandedly invested into his own craft without the help of any record label.

He maintained that Stonebwoy was the only local artiste who had featured about 40 international Grammy artistes including Sean Paul, Beenie man, Shaggy and Angelique kidjo.

“Stonebwoy is up and doing and I won’t be surprised if he has already started his next album recording. The guy is really working and has worked hard. He deserves all the accolades,” Bullgod added.

His comments came in light with the album listening of Stonebwoy titled “Up & Running” which was held at the Alora Beach Resort inside Laboma Beach in Accra.

The album featured his monster hit “Jejereje” and was unveiled at a glamorous listening party on Wednesday.
