The Black Ops dug deep into Cardo’s profile to establish that he started off in Botolan as a SAF trooper and was later brought into Manila by his grandfather to investigate the deàth of his twin brother, Ador.
He saved many people and praised as a hero. He fought many drug lords including Don Emilio and later was sent to prison. He cleared his name and also proceeded to bring down many notorious criminals. He then d!ed as a criminal.

Lia could not believe that Ricardo Dalisay was a criminal. Ramil arrived at Ramon’s house to show himself to the guys how he was living large at Lito’s mansion. Greco questioned him on the need to return to his route, if he could get the best of clothes, drinks and women.
Ramil then said he was there to offer Lito’s help in rescuing Teddy and Olegario. Cardo did not accept the help and was so upset with Ramil. Ramil termed him as arrogant. Virgie got upset that Cardo did not want to accept any help and threatened to blame him should anything happen to her husband.
Ramil told Virgie not to build her trust in Cardo as the group might even d!e in the mission. Ramon retorted that he should not say such a thing again.
Lily called Augustus to still keep an eye on Ambo and Elizabeth as well as Ellen. Augustus claimed they had been quiet. Lily saw that as more reason why he should find out because there might be something fishy going on.

In the palace, Mariano was making advances on Ellen and she advised him to desist from that as someone might see them. Mariano dragged her to the other side of the palace where they had not make lōve there before to go down with her. Unfortunately, Ambo came to see them.
Surprisingly, he hid himself to watch everything that they were doing and was stunned by how the President was acting like a reptile ready to devour his prey. He noticed Ambo and reached an agreement with him that he should not open his mouth and not reveal what he saw to anyone, most especially, not to Lily. He explained that he was a man with needs which Lily could not offer but Ellen was the one who could do it. Ambo hissed that it was inappropriate to be sleeping with someone’s wife.
The fake President said it did not matter and reminded Ambo of their friendship. In order for Ambo not to rat him out, he paid 20,000 for him to keep his mouth shut. Ambo almost told Elizabeth about the dirty affair of the President and Ellen but kept the truth.
Lily allowed Arturo to go and face Ricardo Dalisay and remained since she did not want anyone to see her due to her role as the first lady. At least, this was what she said in an attempt to deceive Arturo for her to roll out her vicious plans on the flip side.
Arturo was glad, thinking, Lily would not come in between his human trade. He went for the captives, making Diana and Teddy wonder where they were relocating them and whether they were going to eliminate them. Cardo and his team made plans to meet the corrupt judge to do their trading.
His team questioned him if he was fit for the task. Even if he was not fit, Cardo was determined to get his father-in-law free with Olegario. In a carefully elaborated plan, they set bombs at the location for the human trading but left Delfin at where they parked their cars for him not to be caught in the fight.
Cardo, Major Basco met with Padua and Diana together with Teddy were happy to see Cardo. Lily who was in her hood, hidden in the woods called her backup to intercept the transaction to k!ll Cardo for her to freely become the President without any hindrance. Her goons remained high alert.
Cardo told Padua to release the captives and the corrupt judge said he had two humans so Cardo should rather take one. He presented Olegario in an exchange for his daughter. Cardo made one of his comrades to bring out Clarice. She was covered up in a sack. When Diana reached Cardo, she whispered that they should be vigilant as Padua and Lily had no plans for them to leave there alive.
Cardo made it clear that he prepared well for that. His comrades gave Diana a gün. Thinking he had finally gotten his daughter, he brandished a gün at Teddy who still remained with him. His goons were also surrounding him, helping him in his bid.

He told Cardo that he should not think he would leave them to have their way, he was going to k!ll Teddy and all of them. He was smiling as he thought he had outsmarted Cardo but was dumbfounded when he realised that he was completely tricked.
Cardo called out Clarice, and quickly, Major Opeña removed the sack for Padua to realise that it was Roxanne instead and not his daughter.
“Cardo damn you!” Padua could not believe his eyes as Roxanne had already brandished a gün at him and his daughter was behind a rock since the location was a shore or an Island. Clarice was wearing jeans trousers, a blouse and a cup. She screamed out her father’s name.
“Daddy, Daddy!”
Padua was dumbfounded as his plans were defeated and did not know what to do. Cardo demanded he returned Teddy for his daughter.
