The Broken Marriage Vow Episode 7 David stops Lexy from aborting the child, Jill discovers David had dated Lexy for over two years and prepares to annul her marriage
Jill went to her pop’s house to find the man swallowed overdose and was lying helplessly on his bed. Jill tried to bring him to life. David on the other hand was done having $ëx with Lexy and was complementing her looks most especially her eyes.
Sandy called him to inform him that Dr Jose attempted suicide so he rushed to the hospital to find his wife and Sandy with the man. He learnt that Jose was doing well and asked Jill if he could get something for her to eat.
When Jill was left with her Pop, Jose woke up and advised her to take heart and start all over with her husband. Jill went home and sat next to her husband. She told him that she was willing to start all over with her and encouraged him to tell her the truth.
David consistently denied and even asked if she wanted to go on a vacation as he could tell she was stressed out. Jill went to the washroom to cry while David kept asking whether she was okay. That night, Jill couldn’t sleep. She was contemplating what to do while David was also pretending to be sleeping.
Carol helped Charlie with his attire after his bath. Carol was feeling guilty that she did not open up to Jill for his extra marital affair. She wished she and her husband had not gone to Cebu and if David was not Charlie’s friend, she would have told Jill the truth. She was scared that Jill’s attitude would change on her once she discovered the truth.
Charlie stated that it was David’s own doing and he had to clean his mess. Charlie went to work and David told him that his wife questioned him about his infidelity and did not know how Jill got that impression. Charlie did not believe that he was pointing an accusing finger at Carol and him.
Charlie said no matter what he shouldn’t come clean. Justin was glad that Lexy had rescinded her decision to abort her child. Lexy said she had spoken with David and made that decision. She called David to ask him if they could meet but David told her about his wife’s suspicions and they agreed not to meet.
Jill saw Jose off but Jose did not want to go since he was the only ally of Jill. Jill insisted that he needed to go to relax himself and assured she would be fine. Nose asked her if she would be able to forgive David, if he voiced out the truth.
Later, she came home to find her mother-in-law at the house. David had called her to come and cook since Jill was tired. Jill realised her husband only wanted an ally. She confronted Marina for knowing her son was having an affair and was covering up. She disclosed that Lexy was pregnant and was planning to abort it.
She asked Jill if David knew about it and she claimed David was unaware. Marina pleaded with her to inform David. Jill then texted Sandy to inform David. Sandy called David at the time he was having a punching rehearsal with his son, Gio. When Sandy told him that, she lied to Jill that there was an emergency at the office so he needed to go.
Marina thanked Jill for taking those steps and assured that she had been talking to David for his irresponsible act. She begged Jill for her son’s behaviour but she said Marina was not the one to beg on her son’s behalf. Marina knew Jill was the one who had taken care of the bills and had maintained the house.
She thanked her for having patience with David. She hoped that David would not end up like his father. Jill asked if she believed David would abandon her like his father did to Marina. Marina stated that if David would leave her, he would have done it for a long time. She said she never knew David could have that affair for two years now.
Jill was surprised as she thought the affair started months ago not knowing it had been more than two years. She felt so betrayed but her mother-in-law said she was the wife and could maintain her marriage. She went with Marina to the hospital for her mother-in-law to see her doctor for medication.
Lexy arrived home to find David in her room. David told her not to abort the baby. He was surprised that she did not inform him about the pregnancy before making that decision to abort the baby. Lexy said the pregnancy wouldn’t change a thing. She asked if he was willing to divorce his wife and be with her and their baby.
David politely said he needed time to do that but he insisted on her to keep the baby. Jill met with her client, the attorney and after referring him to the necessary medical assistant, she also revealed her intentions to have an appointment with him to get her marriage annulled.
Later in the house, Jill asked David how the emergency went yesterday and he kept lying to her as he stated the problem had been resolved. Days later, Jill met with her attorney to talk about the divorce. The attorney realised David was the one who was in charge of Jill’s finances and wondered why Jill would do that.
Jill explained that he was her husband and deemed it right for him to control her finances. The attorney explained that she and her spouse had conjugal properties so David could have half of her properties if the court split her assets, money and all her properties.
Jill realised that she did the wrong thing to have a conjugal agreement with him. She wanted Gio to have a better future and did not want all that she laboured for, get into the hands of David.
The Attorney advised her not to inform David about her plans and should keep investigating to know what David had been doing with her money to know the necessary steps to take. Jill embraced the advice and wanted her dignity to be restored at the end of everything.
