The Iron Heart Episode 49 Menandro appointed as the new Deputy Director of the CIB, Helen is cremated, Menandro to fund Apollo’s operations against Priam and the Triangle
Priam escorted his soldiers to see Aphrodite. Elsewhere, Venus was saved by Poseidon and Juno. As she got into the black van, she was rather worried about Pretty Boy.
She wanted to go and save him. However, she was wounded. Poseidon reminded her that she was seriously wounded and had to wait for Pretty Boy since he promised to make it there.
Eros drove Juno, Poseidon and Venus and recalled how he was able to gather information from Nyx after he met up with her and straightened their relationship.
He learnt that Rovero who was in the CIB was working for Priam and after Xenon spoke to the media about the Deputy Director of CIB being captured, he realised the Triangle was behind the act and he informed Menandro about it.
He even gave Menandro the location of Priam and he went there to save Apollo. Priam led his client to Aphro for them to learn about the Hyperion virus. But the client still doubted the potency of that virus.
Eros sent the Turtle Squad to where Menandro was treating Apollo and vouches for their loyalty to Apollo. Menandro told him to ensure not to blow his cover.
When the leaders of the Triangle organized themselves for the pending meeting, Priam formally introduced Dr. Aphro to them as the New Head of the Iron Heart Project.
Selene wondered what that project was about that they only learnt it from Helen Gomez. Priam praised that project, terming it as the project that could secure the Triangle financially for the next generation to even enjoy from it.
He promised to make each leader rich beyond their dream and Echo saw it as a great project. To make it more successful, Priam ordered Selene and Orcus to find more test subjects. That was to say they should kidnap people.
Adonis and Echo were to ensure Pretty Boy and the CIB stayed clear of the project. As Menandro was instated as the new Deputy Director, he addressed the CIB and the press about his next line of action.
He revealed that he knew the person responsible for the déåth of Helen Gomez. Priam was also watching the live telecast of the special event organized by the CIB in respect for the fallen boss, Helen.
He told Nyx that he knew Menandro. He was a special agent of the CIB and at a point, Menandro wanted to eliminate him but didn’t succeed. He saw that he had done Menandro a very big favour by eliminating Helen for him to be promoted.
As Poseidon was facing Eros and demanding to see Pretty Boy, Menandro came in. Poseidon joked around but thanked him for saving him.
The rest also thanked Menandro and Venus asked what they could do to repay him for saving their lives. Menandro told them to remain in the safe house, if they only wanted to be under his protection because Priam would never stop in finding them.
He later went to see Apollo at where he kept him and found Apollo sneaking out. Apollo not knowing who he was fought him. The two fought and came out. Eros ran to the field with Posiedon, Juno and Venus.
He then informed Pretty Boy that he was talking to the new Deputy Director of the CIB. Apollo apologised to Menandro. They had a private talk and he once again apologised to him.
Actually, Menandro wanted to know his skills that was the reason he fought him. They sat under a tree and he told him that Attorney Gomez left him under his care.
Apollo was anxious to know if he saw her before her déåth and Menandro said he saw her before she was cremated. He knew nothing would stop Apollo in his work against Priam.
Though, it was against the CIB protocol, he would allow Apollo to f¡ght against Priam from the outside while Eros would operate from the inside.
Menandro was ready to fund the operations of Apollo together with his friends since Apollo was no longer a CIB agent after his cover was blown.
Apollo and his Turtle Squad went to their headquarters built by Hermes. Eros got there and Poseidon was glad that Eros was part of the group and was not a traitor.
He tried finding a perfect name for the group since they were now five. Poseidon came up with the name Apollo-five since they were five.
Echo prepared his personal army to find the four most wanted people, Venus- a con artist, Poseidon- a member of the Triangle, Juno- the wife of a former Triangle and the top priority was Apollo- a mole for the CIB.
The Private Army spread the information and Cronus found it on the Internet. Troy tried to contact Apollo but he couldn’t reach him. Cronus believed Apollo changed his contact since he was on the wanted list.
Troy was agitated so Cronus assured that he was on his side and knew Apollo had done nothing.
Eros rushed to the camp of Selene and was told about the Iron Heart Project and the need to be kidnapping people. Eros was asking so many questions when Orcus put him in his place.
