Hermes Nuevo and his character in The Iron Heart
Hermes Nuevo is a supporting villain who committed many crimes to please the crime syndicate boss Engineer Priam dela Torre.
He was a former CIB agent who was out of the bureau to be Priam’s henchmen and an undercover agent who helps Priam to deliver all his secret assassination missions on his enemies.
He has a problem with his eyesight and without his spectacles he barely sees things which became his complete weakness that led to his downfall as a character.
Hermes’ character was introduced in the Iron Heart when Engineer Priam wanted an investigation to be conducted on his only son, Jason’s sudden demise.
Hermes is given the task by Priam and as a former Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) agent he addressed Priam as his uncle while Priam addressed him as his godson.
He went to the accident scene, the place where the chopper which Priam’s son onboard exploded and he found some explosives invented by the CIB.
He presented his findings to Priam that an agent of the CIB had infiltrated the safe Triangle camp to cause mayhem in neutralizing all the plans of Priam.
In his quest to fish out the mole, Hermes discovered that the Arcadia boss, Eros del Rio was an agent and he secretly went to attack him which caused his death.
After the death of Hermes, his wife Juno Suarez-Nuevo who is a psychic embarked on a mission to avenge the déåth of her husband.
She revealed to Eros that Hermes was a former CIB agent who was betrayed and set up by his own agency.
They even attempted to k¡ll him but Priam saved his life. Since then, her husband became a living ghost, eliminating all Priam’s enemies as a payback for saving his life.
However he failed on a mission to k¡ll Eros after discovering the hidden secret of him. His mistake was that he did not give the necessary evidence to Priam before his death.
Hermes death came as a big blow to his wife since they already lost a child through a miscarriage and had promised Juno a fresh start after the mission which took away his life.
Hermes met Juno while working for Priam. Juno used to be a cook at Priam’s house and both fell in løvé.
