Ivana Alawi denies ‘Batang Quiapo’ eviction exit
Fast rising Filipina actress Ivana Alawi has dismissed claims that she was evicted from the ABS-CBN TV series “Batang Quiapo” for not appearing on sets.
It was reported that the actress was dismissed from the cast due to the “attitude problem” she exhibited on set.

However, the talent manager of Ivana Alawi has refuted claims, saying prior commitments prompted the actress’ nearing exit from the series.
The talent manager of Ivana Alawi, Perry Lansigan responding to claims allegedly made by a certain personal assistant against the actress said the information was false.
The unnamed personal assistant apparently claimed that Ivana was often unavailable for tapings, and that she would abruptly leave the set despite pleas to extend her filming hours.
“This attitude of Ivana is now spreading online and that’s why she will disappear from ‘Batang Quiapo’ because of her attitude,” DJ Jhaiho told Lansigan through a text message.

Lansigan, in response, explained that “From the very start… Her stay in the said teleserye should only be three months. They agreed on three months and Ivana was okay.”
He further stated that the talk between Ivana Alawi and the staff of the TV series happened sometime in August last year, during the height of the wedding celebration of former cast member Lovi Poe.
“But because the combination of Bubbles and Tanggol clicked, it was extended and extended and increased with many tapings,” Lansigan continued, referring to Ivana and lead star Coco Martin’s characters.
“Until the schedule couldn’t handle it anymore as Ivana also has prior commitments—shoots, vlogs, etc.—that her management agreed to. Ivana really couldn’t take it anymore,” the talent manager added.
Lansigan stressed that they had made several adjustments on Alawi’s prior commitments for her to attend to her responsibilities in “Batang Quiapo.”
He also dismissed claims that Alawi already had her last taping for the TV series, saying she still has taping schedules until Friday, July 12.
