Aurora went to her father’s ward to inform him about her decision to stay in the country since his days were numbered and might need her support. Don Ignacio thanked her. She went home and Thalia told her that she would make the guards escort her to the hospital.
Aurora said she did not need andy security. She asked Thalia whether she was the person who followed her the other time and she admitted the security details were for her but she drove fast and they couldn’t catch up.

She made it clear that she didn’t need any security. Eduardo appeared in the scene to beg Aurora but she referred him to her father. She reminded him how he never showed her mercy when he was k!lling everyone in the farming community.
Aurora left home and Eduardo followed her. He called his goons to ambush Aurora. Thalia instructed the security to follow. As Aurora was driving, the goons spotted her and ambushed her. She was ordered to step out of her car and was held at a günpoint.
Eduardo intercepted and saved Aurora. Thalia and security arrived late. Aurora was suspicious of Eduardo and believed the ambush was staged. She never believed Eduardo would save her. Eduardo knew Aurora got frightened by that incident and knew his plans to gain Aurora’s trust and that of Don Ignacio would work.
When they least expected to k!ll Aurora and take over the Guillermo’s fortune. The video of Mariano went viral and Hipolito and Arturo were happy because now Arturo had gotten his sweet revenge on Mariano. Lily got upset and threatened to shōõt the manhood of Mariano.
Mariano begged because that was his assets. Augustus had no doubt that the enemies of Lily pulled that off. Lily already knew that. She asked for the media to be called for a press conference. She went to accuse Hipolito and Arturo.
Aurora and Eduardo arrived at the hospital and Aurora told Lucia about the incident. Lucia was throwing Eduardo out and he used his so-called help he gave to Aurora as means to cement his stay. Don Ignacio was informed and was glad that his brother saved Aurora. Don Ignacio believed Cardo’s group attacked his daughter.

He was however, not ready to brush off the idea of his brother stealing from him. Thalia was unhappy that Eduardo saved Aurora because if she had d! ëd, she would only have Don Ignacio to eliminate to gain the Guillermo fortune.
She called Albert and informed him how Aurora and Eduardo were making it difficult for her to eliminate Don Ignacio Albert told Lito that Thalia was now working together and assured Lito that he had the heart of Thalia and she would deliver.
To show that he was grateful for what Eduardo did, Don Ignacio set Eduardo as the head of Aurora’s security details but assured Thalia that she would remain his head of security. Don Ignacio was discharged and when they arrived home, he told everyone that he was having a terminal disease and might not even live up to a year.
Eduardo was happy that he wouldn’t have to wait for long to get hold of the Guillermo fortune. He planned to eliminate Aurora the next time he staged another attack like that. Don Ignacio spoke with Aurora to head over all his businesses but she was not willing. Lucia convinced her but she was not ready.
Aurora was happy with her simple job as an Administrator of an orphanage home. Lucia told her that millions of people depended on Don Ignacio to survive so Aurora should embrace it. Lucia made it clear that her uncle was itching to get hold of her father’s fortune.
Aurora returned to her father and told him that she and Lucia had talked about what he discussed with her. Aurora said when she was made to head the businesses, she would sell everything and donate the money to the orphanage.
Eduardo went to his ghetto to discover that one of his men got hurt when they staged the attack because Eduardo himself shot the person. They felt sorry for the one who got hurt and talked about how good and reliable the person was to the group.
Eduardo did not care because he had to make the staged-attack real for Aurora to believe he saved her. He even threatened to shōõt anyone who would feel sorry for their fallen friend.
Ellen was watching her television when it was reported that the President was involved in a scandal. She felt sorry for herself to have allowed Mariano to bed her. She thought of getting back to her husband, Arturo. Flora and Yolly also watched the news and Flora had no doubt that her grandson, Cardo would soon be acquitted from the charges leveled against him.
Hipolito believed the public reaction to the scandal would make Lily not win the elections because the netizens were saying that they would not vote for a president who was not decent and not even his wife would merit their vote. Lily was not ready to make Renato have the last laugh.
She asked Cassandra about the preparation of the press conference. Aurora seeing the news made her wonder about the kind of person Oscar had turned into. She knew Oscar was incapable of doing such a thing and wondered what had changed about him.
Meanwhile, Oscar was also sitting somewhere thinking about his life. Don Ignacio hearing the news was happy that he separated his daughter from Oscar and even threatened to get back at Oscar for even getting involved with Aurora.
