Gangs of Manila Episode 49 Tanggol serenades Mokang, Tes confirms that Roda has no concrete evidence against Tanggol
As David was tidying up, Santino got him to ask him the reason he snitched on Tanggol. He could now tell that David and his father had even patched things up.
David stated that he was the favourite son and Tanggol deserved to be imprisoned. He acted so insolently.

Tanggol and Mokang were walking and they came around someone who was singing and playing guitar so Tanggol used that opportunity to perform for Mokang and to voice out his feelings for her.
Tes spoke with her husband to also forgive Tanggol just like he did with David. However, Rigor said he forgave David because he was his son. Tes was surprised that he was still punishing Tanggol over a crime he knew nothing about.
Tanggol told Mokang the new allegations leveled against him by Roda. He said Roda was accusing him of stább¡ñg him, something he never did.
They then went to the hospital to see Mr Marcing. Mokang told him about the amount she had to pay and her father’s expenses kept piling up.
Tanggol wanted to do everything possible to help her even if he would have to return to robbing but Mokang stopped him.
Mokang appreciated all his efforts but she wanted him to change for good and never wanted him to turn back to his old ways. Tanggol proposed to her once more.
She knew that he had always løved her and being honest with him, it was his løve that kept her going. She wanted to concentrate on her father at the moment before thinking about her feelings for Tanggol.
Tanggol returned to Berting’s place to find his friends drinking. They gave him a drink and asked why he had kept long.
He told them that he visited Tindeng and the old woman tried playing the hero and got herself hürt by some goons who were mugging her regular customers.
He assured his friends that she was fine at the moment but what made he keep long was that she went to the bar where Mokang was working and was able to patch things up with her.

They had now reached an agreement that he would always wait for her to close and bring her back home. His friends were scared that Tanggol acting as a bodyguard would send Mokang into trouble.
At the hospital, Mokang gave the money she made from the bar to Nita and her mother warned her from staying away from Tanggol.
She told Mokang that Edwin said Roda was accusing Tanggol of stàbb¡ng him. Mokang didn’t hesitate to defend Tanggol.
Back to Berting’s place, Tanggol said per their agreement, if he caused trouble, Mokang would not talk to him again. They then had toast. They went to talk to Supremo and he wanted to go out so they sought permission from Berting.
David prepared beef food for only his father and did not allow Santino to even have a bite. Tes told David to allow his brother to taste some but David’s insolence was in the next level, making Tindeng wonder why he had grown wigs.
Berting couldn’t stop his guests from going out and threw a word caution to them, most especially to Tanggol who had been accused of stábbing Roda. Tanggol made it clear that he was only going to the bar to be with Mokang and promised not to cause trouble.
Berting reminded Supremo that he was being hunted by the police and since he was an ex-convict, it would be easy for him to be thrown back into prison.
Primo knew that already and promised to take extra care. Besides, he was just roaming around the area to have a better breather.

Elsewhere, Tes went to see Roda in her attempt to get to the buttom of the issue just to help her son. Roda got upset seeing Tes. He accused Tes of being shocked that he was still alive.
Tes learnt from Roda’s speech that he was only suspecting Tanggol and it was not that he witnessed Tanggol stább¡ng him.
Roda threatened to get Tanggol behind bars and did not listen to Tes’ plea and point concerning his allegations. He maintained that he had the resources to pursue the case to its core and instructed his nurses to throw Tes out.
Tes vowed to protect Tanggol because now she had confirmed that her son was innocent.
