Speaking in a recent media interview, Fernandez opened up that the video was leaked after his friends were able to access his phone during a party.
“What happened was not my fault. It was not a circuit hack. My phone was manually hacked during a party with girl friends, which then led to the leakage. They were able to open my phone and obtain the video,” he explained.
Fernandez stated that the video was old and that it was only an “adventure” he did with his ex-girlfriend.
He mentioned that filming his intimate moment was mostly the lady’s idea as she was interested in creating memories.
“I do not actually do those things. My ex-girlfriend was the one who liked to take videos so we just came up with the idea. Because I grew up in the film industry, I am aware of the ethics,” Fernandez stated.
He said he did not get upset after he saw the video going viral since it was not edited, it was shared as it was filmed.

“I did not get mad. I would have gotten angry if they edited it to make me look bad and made it appear that I was spying on the girl. They showed that the girl was the one holding the camera, not me,” Fernandez added.
He further admitted that he was nervous when the video first leaked, but he was relieved after he was informed of the “positive” reactions to it.
Fernandez also said that he did not take any action to remove the clip online.
