Relationship known by the public doesn’t flourish— Erich Gonzales
Renowned Filipina actress, Erich Gonzales has asserted that relationships that are open to the public don’t flourish.
According to her, she kept her detailed love-life private just to marry and build her family.
Gonzales revealed this in a vlog after she stopped updating fans and followers about her løve life when her earlier relationship with ex-boyfriend, a Brazilian model and actor Daniel Matsunaga hit the rocks.
“I think it’s for the best. I want to protect something so precious to me, something beautiful. I don’t want to ruin it so that’s just mine,” she explained.
In March 2019, Gonzales was linked to a non-showbiz man named Mateo Lorenzo.
”First of all, we have nothing to hide. I’m single and he’s single too,” she said when she was being linked to Lorenzo.
Recently, a photo from the 2023 baptism of a child believed to be the actress’ son surfaced on social media.
In the 2023 Facebook post shared by one Frankie Mabanta, the priest who baptized Gonzales and her businessman husband Lorenzo’s supposed child — the pair were seen standing next to each other, with the actress holding the infant.
Lorenzo’s parents, business tycoon Martin Ignacio Lorenzo and Leah De Leon Lorenzo, were also present at the baptismal ceremony.
“[Three] generations… Accompanying the family in the Christian faith through the sacraments. Today, I baptized Jose Mateo. He is the son of Mateo Lorenzo and Erich Gonzales Lorenzo,” Mabanta said in the caption.
“I baptized Mateo, his father, in 1992, 31 years ago. He is the second of 12 siblings, all of whom I baptized,” he further disclosed. “Mateo is the son of Martin Lorenzo and Leah De Leon Lorenzo. I officiated Martin and Leah’s wedding in 1998, 34 years ago.”
