Love Thy Woman: The cause of Adam Wong’s death

Adam Wong, a character played by Christopher De Leon met his untimely death in Love Thy Woman after his zeal in finding the truth about the identity of Michael and how Harry and Lucy made the 5million deal yields.

This among other secrets kept by Dana, Lucy and Amanda change his mind on his family to turn things around in the way which he deems as right.

In his quest for answers for Lucy and Harry’s deal, Adam stumbles upon a CCTV footage which shows how Elvie, his former servant left the child at the gate. He then travels to find more answers to make a decision which throws his family apart. Lucy gets stab at the back as Carol reveals her friend’s eight years secret to Adam.

Adam felt betrayed for his wife to leave him in the dark, he confronts Lucy for telling him lies over the years. He threatens to file for divorce and Lucy will lose everything including the company. Unknown to them, Gab was listening to their conversation and was recording. He presents the evidence of the Wong’s marital feud to Amanda who now gains the strength to execute a her mission in working at Dragon Empire Builders.

Adam packs out of the Wong’s mansion, leaving his wife, compelling Lucy to end her friendship with Carol. Amanda then strikes, she introduces Gab to Adam as the fruit of their affair years back. Adam then takes the decision to run a DNA test to confirm whether Gab is indeed his son. This totally breaks Lucy’s heart and the tension between the estranged couple becomes intense.

Meanwhile, Kai receives an anonymous recording about Adam and Lucy’s argument which concerns Lucy’s involvement in John Yu, now Michael’s kidnapping. She storms Adam office to reprimand him for obstructing justice. Kai is poised to get Lucy behind bars for kidnapping her grandson.

To add salt to the injury, her brother, Harry has gone missing for several months and suspects Lucy as the brain behind the act. The mistress and Adam argued, while Adam pleads with Kai not to rant Lucy out to the police. Adam receives another disturbing information about his legitimate daughter which compels him to rewrite his will.

The issue of the will ignites war between the three women(Lucy, Kai and Amanda) Adam has involved himself with. Adam makes a recording and sends digital copies of his new will to his lawyer. This compelled one of his women to do the unthinkable that leads to Adam’s death.

Adam plans to attend the company’s anniversary to surprise everyone with his new CEO, however, an unknown person knocked at his door and Kai heard a gun shot from the lady’s room. She steps out just to see Lucy walking with a gun. She followed Lucy and the two women had a heated argument and fought for the gun.

The gun eventually fired, an event leads to another as Dana goes to Adam’s office to find him streaming in blood while Kai is beside him. She accused Kai of k!lling her father so Kai takes to her heels to save her life. Unfortunately, Kai runs into the police outside and was arrested for the murder of Adam Wong.

Soon, an investigation is launched to find the real culprit and the investigator gets a new lead which linked Lucy to the death of her husband. Lucy is then arrested, however, another lead sets Lucy free as the family still fights over the inheritance with Amanda executing other vile plots to ensure Gab gets the lion share.

Meanwhile, Lucy also dirty her hands with Dana to ensure the will is not read without Dana and her securing their right as the legitimate heiresses to the Wong’s fortune. Investigation is still ongoing to obtain justice for Adam Wong’s death.
