We can’t replace Kathniel— FranSeth opens up
The popular Filipino love team, Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin known as “FranSeth” are not ready to be tagged as the next KathNiel.
According to them, they are niching their own market and want fans and the public to see them differently from the most admired team KathNiel which saw tragic separation last year.

The ABS-CBN Star Magic love-team got to speak up on the long-standing comparisons during the storycon for their first big-screen outing, “My Future You,” which they said they could not replace KathNiel.
“We can’t replace KathNiel. We want to achieve what they have, but not to replace them. We idolise them for what they’ve accomplished. That’s our dream. Wherever they’ve reached, hopefully, we will reach, too, but on our own terms,” Seth opened up.
He further indicated that they were pressured to act like KathNiel but he and Francine wanted to be themselves to be known differently.

Seth stated that some comments he reads on social media were scary and made it clear that he could not be Daniel and Francine could not be Kathryn, they were basically FranSeth not KathNiel and advised the public to embrace their originality.
“You know, I won’t become Daniel, that’s very unlikely. FranSeth won’t be Kathryn, we don’t want to be KathNiel. We want to be FranSeth,” he added.
On her part, Francine reiterated that they could not replace the famed love team since their path to success was completely different from theirs.
“We really can’t replace KathNiel because their path to success is completely different from ours. Seth and I want to be known as ourselves, as FranSeth,” she stated.
Francine hoped that whatever success KathNiel enjoyed, FranSeth would also experience “it but in our own way.”
