‘We do not marry slay queens’, they are waste— D Black alleges

Popular Ghanaian rapper Desmond Blackmore known in showbiz circles as D Black has alleged that women who wear artificial nails, colourful hair and high heels are non marriage materials and described them as “waste.”

According to him, such women are slay queens and are incapable of doing house chores, thus become waste when they are married.

Speaking in a media interview in Accra on Wednesday, D Black indicated that slay queens do not make good wives and would never look at such women to be the mother of his kids.

He explained that many women who follow trends and are misled by things they watch on social media and advised them to stop copying blindly.

“Some of those ladies we watch on screens are just acting as part of their job and if you act in a similar way by wearing heels, long hair and nails you are just worrying your own self. We should just stop copying things we watch and see on social media they are not real,” D Black added.

He debunked claims that slay queens make the best of wives and said many men including himself loved women who were natural and did not look complicated.

“It is a wrong perception, we do not marry slay queens. Take me for instance, when I meet a woman, the first thing I look at is her nails, I don’t like artificial nails or long nails, it turns me off. I mean if your nails are long and you finish eating, who is going to wash your plate for you?” He queried.

The “Vera” hitmaker revealed that he liked intelligent hardworking women who were simple, adding that “I don’t fall for all those colourful hair, when I see a lady like that, it gives me an impression that she is not serious.”

When asked what turns him on about a woman, he said, “I love career driven, intelligent and passion driven ones.”
