What to know about Ria and Zanjoe’s wedding
As many of the celebrity couples were breaking up, Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo rocked the world of fans when they tied the knot to officially celebrate the bride on her birthday.
The couple made it official in a civil ceremony at Quezon City on March 23, which coincided with the bride’s birthday.
Their union came as a surprise to many as the couple had kept their relationship under wraps but the wedding of the actors was much to the delight of their colleagues and followers.
Ria was simple yet stunning as she wore an off-shoulder dress designed by Martin Bautista. Her bridal beauty look was put together by makeup artist Denise Ochoa and hairstylist Anton Papa.
The Marudos received a warm welcome from the guests during the reception after they were pronounced husband and wife.

Ria and Zanjoe’s showbiz colleagues also graced the occasion to celebrate the couple on their big day.
Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde, the brother of Ria and his wife were among the star-studded guests.
Among the wedding guests were Enchong Dee and Alexa Ilacad, Kathryn Bernardo, Darren Espanto, Joshua Garcia and Daniel Padilla.
The mother of the bride who is also an actress, Sylvia Sanchez, shared a sweet mother-and-daughter moment as she kissed and hugged the latter.
