Wildflower Episode 1 The Cruzes arrive at Poblacion Ardiente to start a new life, Lily becomes friends with Governor Julio’s grandson Diego
After, Dante Cruz’s last case brought threats to his peaceful life in the city, he made a decision to travel to a province, Poblacion Ardiente to build a new life there with his wife, Carmia and daughter, Lily.
He planned to set up his own law firm after working as a public Attorney for a while and his wife Camila, a public teacher also had a dream of setting up a daycare.
While they arrived at the town square of Poblacion Ardiente, his car broke down and he tried all that he could to push and manage.
At that time, the great Ardiente family, the most powerful political dynasty in the town under the rule of Governor Julio Ardiente was celebrating a festival where the Governor was using the occasion to campaign for his daughter, Emilia who was also a Mayor.
They had won the hearts of the people and the town’s people had carved a statue of Julio to surprise him. Julio had made many contributions and made many donations to put the people under control to do his will.
Learning about the presence of the strangers in his town, he made his guards toll the old car of Dante and got it repaired for him for free.
The strangers joined the celebration as they witnessed Governor Julio making his speech that the Ardientes had served the town for 80 good years right from Julio’s ancestors to his father and him.
Carmia and her daughter, Lily were awed by the generous act of the Ardientes but Dante was not moved by the act. He believed there was something suspicious about politicians and they could not be trusted that easily.
Elsewhere, Julio, Emilia and her husband together with their two sons enjoyed the reception they set up for the poor in the community to dine with them.
Julio was upset with Diego, his youngest fat grandson who was fond of eating while Arnaldo was not like that. Emilia caught her husband, Raul in the company of some girls and she became jealous.
While they arrived at home, she and her husband had a misunderstanding as she insisted that her husband was chéàting. Julio blamed his daughter for the misunderstanding.
Meanwhile, Diego cried seeing his parents always arguing but Arnaldo wanted him to get over it since that was not the first time Emilia and Raul were arguing.
He even reminded him that Julio would beat Diego should he see that he was eavesdropping. The Cruzes settled down and were shocked to discover that Lily was aware that their lives were being threatened by Dante’s enemies.
The following day, Carmia enrolled Lily at the Ardiente Elementary School where she would also work as a teacher.
Carmia learnt about the generous act of the Ardientes and even learnt about another official event coming up in the school. The manner they were talking made it seem like the Ardientes were using their money for the projects they had been embarking on.
Carmia made it clear that everything was done with public funds, tax payers money. In the mansion of the Ardientes, Julio checked the reports of his grandsons.
Arnaldo was part of the top five in school and Julio expected him to be the first in his next report. Meanwhile, Diego failed. As part of his punishment, Julio sent his two grandsons to a land owned by him to tell them the symbolic history of ants.
Arnaldo being smart symbolically likened the ants carrying the food to the queen as the people of Poblacion Ardiente since they were serving the Ardientes.
Julio was impressed by how Arnaldo could make such a comparison but he was there to punish Diego for being a weakling and also not getting a perfect score. He used his walking stick to throw the ants on Diego for him to be bitten by them.
Diego later went to the fields and he believed his grandfather was right and he was being a weakling. Lily who had been painting and learning with her parents followed a butterfly to the fields and saw Diego.
She thought Diego wanted to commit süiç¡de by falling off the cliff so she tried to stop him. However, the sound of her voice scared Diego and he tripped. Lily helped her up before he could fall off the cliff.
She questioned him for the sü¡çide attempt but Diego denied, claiming he was there to learn and almost fell off the cliff due to her.
Lily believed she rather helped save his life and he deduced that Lily meant he was weakling but Lily didn’t mean that. They understood each other and became friends.
Elsewhere, Dante began his job as the public attorney at Poblacion. There, he learnt that there was zero crime at the place for 15 years which made the practice of law at the place not lucrative.
However, Arthur an attorney said that was fallacious. There were many crimes committed at the place but it was concealed. His colleagues believed he was mentally incapacitated so they advised Dante to brush off what Arthur said.
When Dante came home, he informed his family but his wife sided with the colleagues of her husband who claimed Arthur had psychological problems.
One day, Diego went to the fields to learn and he found Lily and her parents at the field and he was introduced to Carmia, a teacher who learnt about the boy’s determination to learn and improve his grades.
She became his private teacher alongside some kids and Diego gained a perfect score in school. Lily helped Diego, trained him and made him exercise so that he could reduce weight and eat as he pleased after Diego told her that his grandfather despised him due to his weight and glutton.
The Nanny was happy over the perfect score Diego gained for the first time and Raul learnt that Carmia was the one who taught his son for him to gain better grades.
Learning about Carmia through Diego, he began to tail her using Diego. He found Carmia appealing and attractive and had his plans after he dropped his son off at where Carmia privately taught the kids.
