Wildflower Episode 6 Ivy takes a bullet for Emilia, Madrigal works in cohort with Emilia’s assassinator
In the mansion of the Ardientes, Ivy apologized to Diego for mentioning his name and for the words Julio uttered. Diego interjected and left for his room.
Elsewhere, Madrigal was drinking with the minions of the Ardientes and he learnt about Tonio, a bodyguard of Emilia who had been silenced for knowing too much about the family.
They warned Madrigal to be extra careful while he was with Arnaldo. Ivy thought about her deeds and believed she ought to make amends with Emilia so that she could win her trust completely.
She told Nanny Carlota about how she put Emilia in her place during her visit to their mansion. She explained that it hurts to stand in front of a person who had wronged you just to pretend.
Emilia was in bed with her husband when she teased her husband for Ivy not looking at him. She warned her husband not to start his old habits for her to also start k¡ll¡ñg.
Julio was relaxing when Arnaldo showed up. Julio was impressed by Ivy’s smartness, an act which had made him rethink his perception of women.
He gave Arnaldo advice to figure out the purpose of Ivy so that he would not get hurt in the long run because the Ardientes bring people closer for a purpose.
As Diego was thinking about Ivy’s character and speech being similar to that of Lily while he was holding the handkerchief embroidered with the name Lily, Arnaldo was also having sleepless nights thinking about Ivy and the words of his grandfather.
He watched her pictures and smiled. Madrigal, seemed to also think about Ivy while Ivy was brooding over her pains.
The following day, Arnaldo woke up to the k!$$és of Natalie, his girlfriend but deemed her to be Ivy until he realized it was Natalie. He had a shower with her and they joined the table for breakfast.
Natalie’s father who was a Senator was also there. Julio wanted their families to be united through marriage after Arnaldo ran for Governor and Emilia as Senator.
Ivy learnt the schedule of Emilia from Carlota and she went to Emilia’s location to call a truce. In order to make up for gaining the property that Emilia was eyeing, she donated into Emilia’s project. This made Emilia so happy.
Emilia introduced her to the Ardientes Women Association members as a person who was donating in the foundation. Ivy asked about the project the foundation was embarking on.
Emilia revealed that she was embarking on mass feeding and medical projects for the aged. Ivy helped her in the project during the mass feeding. There was an aged who was coughing.
Emilia tried helping her and she called her assistants to take over and secretly went to sanitize her hands which Ivy saw. Ivy rather dedicated herself to helping the sick aged and even help her to eat.
Arnaldo arrived there and saw how Ivy used her handkerchief to wipe the woman’s sweat. He Drew closer to Ivy and Emilia who did not want her son to fall for Ivy called Natalie and invited her there.
Natalie came to meet them. She was so jealous and introduced herself to Ivy as the girlfriend of Arnaldo. Ivy didn’t act surprised but played along as she mentioned her name and told her that she was new there that was the reason she did not know her.
Arnaldo asked her what she was doing there and she told him that she was called by his mother to be there. Ivy excused them.
Elsewhere, Nanny Loring was having a second thought about Ivy. She initially liked her but because she had now aligned herself with Emilia and Arnaldo, she felt that Ivy was a bad person.
Diego felt offended because that meant that his family were wicked so Nanny Loring apologized.
Diego came across some kids who were bullying one kid. That reminded him of his childhood and he advised the bullies not to call their friend a pig.
The kids went home, leaving behind the victim of the bully. He was shedding tears. Diego sat next to him to encourage him and told him not to get swayed by what the others said.
Arnaldo came home and told Julio about the clash of Natalie and Ivy. Julio believed it was because Arnaldo was so handsome that was the reason the women were acting jealous.
He asked Arnaldo about how Natalie reacted seeing Ivy and he said Natalie became so possessive. Julio told him that Natalie was his future and their family needed Natalie for the national stage while Ivy could be a side thing for Arnaldo.
Ivy told her nanny how manipulative the Ardientes could be. It hurts her that there was no evidence she could incriminate them with the déåth of her parents.
Carlota told her the distinction between revenge and finding out the truth because she could carry out her revenge without getting incriminating evidence. Ivy came up with a plan and called someone over the phone that she had a job for the person.
She met up with Emilia. Emilia apologised for calling Natalie, she claimed she was not aware that she had not Natalie. Ivy said it was nothing because she believed she and Emilia could go a long way.
Emilia invited her for coffee but as they arrived, someone came from nowhere, confronting Emilia and shøt her. Ivy quickly covered Emilia and took the bullet.
Madrigal went after the culprit. He caught up and beat him up. Some of the guards arrived and handled the culprit. Madrigal insisted on the guards to shøøt the culprit.
Ivy was rushed to the mansion of the Ardientes. Arnaldo left his girlfriend behind. As she was being carried in, Diego arrived and saw them.
He learnt from the guards that Ivy was shøt while saving Emilia. He rushed to the room but another set of guards didn’t allow him to go in. The doctor attended to Ivy. Fortunately, the bullet only grazed her.
She was sedated. Julio thanked her for what she did and told her that his family was indebted to her so she could remain in his mansion for as long as she wanted.
Arnaldo was left to take care of her while Julio went to discipline the guards for their inability to curtail the situation. He used his walking stick to beat them up.
Emilia appeared and she tried stopping her father because she was okay and nothing bad had happened to her. Julio said that was not the reason. He explained that he was the head of the Ardientes and he was rather attaçk.
That would make the public have a different impression about him and term him as weak. Arnaldo told Ivy that she would get better and thanked her for her bravery.
Ivy asked why she was not sent to the hospital and wondered if they would still bring her home for treatment, if it was serious. Arnaldo stated that in situations like that, no one could be trusted and they had to be more discreet.
Besides, Ivy had all the necessary equipment there to help in her recovery. As they were talking, Ivy passed out and Arnaldo attempted to k¡$$ her.
Diego appeared in the scene to watch Arnaldo. Soon , Ivy woke up and called Arnaldo a naughty boy. She asked him if his girlfriend knew about what he was doing. He apologised and left.
Arnaldo learnt that Raul couldn’t be reached so he called him to come home since something had happened. Emilia got to her room to call her husband. Raul ignored her calls since he was driving.
Emilia cried in pain, thinking her husband was cheating. Natalie got to the mansion to confront Arnaldo for leaving her behind and believed that Arnaldo cared much about Ivy than her.
Arnaldo tried convincing her to know that the situation left him with no choice since his mother was scared and Ivy was shøt. He made Madrigal sent her home.
Diego was quiet the entire night when he arrived at his nanny’s place. This got Loring worried but he denied being bothered by anything. He requested to sleep over at his nanny’s place and his nanny was glad.
Madrigal met up with the man who shøt Ivy to confront him for shøøting the girl as that was not part of his plans. He paid him and told him to leave Poblacion as he had made everyone believe that he was déåd.
