Zanjoe Marudo practices ahead of Ria Atayde’s delivery
After days his wife publicly announced her pregnancy, Zanjoe Marudo has expressed readiness to father a child as he shares his preparation for baby carrying.
This further gives a hint that his wife Ria Atayde is about to give birth anytime soon.

On his Instagram story, Zanjoe posted a video of himself in a gym rocking a dumbbell which he pretended to be a baby he’s trying to put to sleep.
“Conditioning to be Zaddy,” he wrote in the caption.
In a separate Instagram post, his mother-in-law, Sylvia Sanchez, also shared a video of Marudo cradling a cat, saying the actor is truly “ready” to be onboard his daddy duties.

“Someone is practicing, hahaha, I think you’re ready [baby emojis]. I laugh while watching you [@onlyzanjoemarudo]. It’s really good how you swing Yoda.)” she wrote.
Sylvia was glad to see how happy the soon-to-be parents were.
“You and [Ria] probably won’t leave your house anymore when you don’t have work once my little boss comes out. I feel the happiness of you and your wife,” she added.
In March, Marudo and Atayde pulled a surprise civil wedding officiated by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, almost a month after they got engaged.
The wedding reception was attended by fellow celebrities, including Kathryn Bernardo, Enchong Dee, Darren Espanto, Daniel Padilla, and Joshua Garcia, among others.
Last month, the couple officially announced that they were expecting their first child, as Atayde greeted her husband on Father’s Day.

“To the dad you already are and the dad I know you’ll be,” wrote the actress. “So excited for this new chapter with you. Happy first Father’s Day!”
The married couple first worked together in the fantasy TV series “My Dear Heart” in 2017.
Four years later, the dating rumours between the two began, and in 2022, Ria’s mother confirmed their relationship.
