Now and Forever Episode 16 Korean Royals reject Cortes jewellery designs
Stella and Carmen rushed to the hospital to see Hernan. Stella’s phone kept ringing but she refused to answer and said that she would call back.
When they arrived at the hospital, Rebecca told them that Hernan got shot while trying to save her. Stella asked her to leave since she was not needed there. Before Rebecca left, she told Stella that they had to catch the men who hurt Hernan and get justice.
Rebecca’s aunt said they now had to leave the farm house after the attack but Rebecca told her that they now had more reason to stay. Rebecca said it meant they were closer to the truth now. She had also concluded that Hernan was not their enemy but their ally.
Carmen was curious about Rebecca so she asked Stella who she was. Stella said that she was Hernan’s neighbour at the farm but Carmen was not convinced that …that was all.
Stella therefore told her that Rebecca was Rodrigo’s girlfriend. She had decided to get closer to her and find out what she was after.
Carmen said she made a good decision and asked Stella to tell her once she found out what Rebecca’s plans were.
Inno and Oliver went to the hospital after finding out what had happened to Hernan. Inno called Eva in the morning to check if she got home and Eva said she was fine. She also thanked him for saving her from the guys who harassed her but insisted that they were not friends.
The family went in to see Hernan after his operation and were glad to see that he was fine. Hernan asked them to leave him alone so that he could talk to Stella.
When they left the room, he asked Stella if she had anything to do with the armed men who went to Rebecca’s house. Stella denied it and said she could not do anything as stupid as attacking her biggest investor.
Carmen talked to Hernan as well and wanted to know why he did not tell her about Rebecca. She wanted Hernan to leave the farm but Hernan said he would stay there and protect Rebecca.
Oliver and Inno made up after their fight at the club and Oliver asked that they should not fight again because of a woman. He was also upset because he felt like a disgrace to the family while he was the older one. He told Inno that he didn’t understand why Stella made him work so hard.
Carmen started on her journey to mentor Inno as the future president of Cortes Jewellery. She reminded him to do well which meant that he would have to sacrifice himself and his happiness.
Inno met with the Korean royals to show them some of the designs from Cortes jewellery but they did not like any of them. The girl who Eva spoke to at the party said that the designs did not have the originality of a bracelet she was wearing. Inno asked to see it and asked her where she got it.
She said that Eva was the one who gave it to her during the party.
Inno went to see Eva to ask her if she knew the person who made the bracelet. Eva wanted to know why and Inno said that he wanted to propose a partnership.
Eva said that the person who made it didn’t want to speak to him and went off. Inno wanted to go after her but Dom stopped him. Isda however asked to let him go so that he could talk to Eva.
Eva was preparing for a trade fair and Inno got to find out from a neighbour that she was the one who created the designs.
He tried to convince her to work with them since the pieces would be distributed in foreign countries including in Korea and it would create more jobs for her community. Eva refused and said she did not want to work with him.
Eva’s neighbourhood was going through a hard time because they had received an eviction notice. The area was going to be reconstructed for a new project and they needed money to relocate. They however trusted Eva and Dom suggested that they show Eva’s designs to the Saavedras, Cortes’ rivals instead.
Inno later found out from his staff that Eva had joined their competition but backed out last minute. He met with the Korean prince and tried to show him other designs since Eva would not agree to the project. The prince refused to look at them and said that it was Eva or nothing.
Stella was mad after she found out about Inno’s project. She told Inno that he now thought he was more superior to her and Inno tried to explain that it was not the case. Stella therefore told him to handle the deal with the Koreans by himself to prove just how good he was.
Hernan asked his friend to get him a lawyer so that he would find out what his options were before telling Rebecca the truth. He was later discharged from the hospital and Inno took him back to the farm.
Stella called Rebecca to ask her about their partnership. She was afraid that Rebecca had decided to back down but Rebecca assured her that their deal would push through.
Stella also talked to the men he hired to attack Rebecca and asked them to go into hiding.
Oliver was upset with his friends for attacking Eva. They claimed his car because he was not able to sleep with Eva and Oliver gave it to them.
He later hooked up with a girl but Stella called him and asked that he joined her since she had an important meeting with an investor. Oliver left to help his mother, he was poised to impress Stella to get a new car.
