AGE

Age is such an honorable sorrow

That sings tunes of lovely dirge

To remind me of a world

That no living eye could see and craft

How beautiful its stay would be

Such makes my heart sweetly grieve about the world

Where my famous soul would be a sojourner

Who journeys with no eternal rest

Oh! How I wish the sky could peacefully lay down today

As a mat full of roses

There I would lie with my love

Comfort him with wine and honey

To forget about the sweetest sorrows

That tomorrow might bring

As I appreciate the best part of my youth

Whilst am still young and fine
