He charged the public to treat that post with the contempt it deserved assured that he would never say any “defamatory words” about one’s personal life most especially Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
Alden Richards disclosed this at the “24 Oras” report aired on May 15, saying he was not the type of person who makes such comments about one’s personal life, when asked about the posts.
“I will never make any defamatory comments about someone with whom I barely interacted. I don’t have the right to judge the people referred to in these fake tweets,” he said.
The actor reminded the public to be wary of fake news circulating on social media while highlighting the importance of “fact-checking.”

“Be careful of fake news because social media is a nest of fake news, not until the actors’ official accounts made the posts. Let’s not believe these fake posts. Practice fact-checking before making a judgment,” he added
Alden is rumored to be courting Kathryn, who confirmed her split with Daniel in November 2023, but the “Hello, Love, Goodbye” stars have remained mum on the real score of their relationship.
The actor earlier addressed rumours that the hit 2019 film would be getting a sequel, saying he’s unsure but hopes it will happen.
