Betrayal (Halik) Episode 20 Ace confesses his feelings for Jade
“Jacky sign this, we need to file a case against her because if we don’t that woman will be coming for more.”
At Montecorp, Ken asked Jacky to show him her bruises for him to shoot photos of it to file a suit against Jade.
She said she would allow things to lie since she requested for the help of Dolor and Lino, thus Jade’s action against her.
Chari indicated that Jade actually was flirting with Ace at the club that was why her instinct was telling her Jacky was doing same.
“Instinct because she thinks all women are flirty as she is,” Ken gave Chari hi-five.
At home Dolor and Lino helped Fe to sit. Dolor treated Fe’s leg for it not to swell. Lino was upset with Jade and was unwilling to give in to her tantrums after Dolor asked him if he had done something against Jade.
Ace got to Ken and Chari’s office and saw Jacky. They were surprised to see him. Ace was actually looking for Jacky and was relieved once he saw her with her friends.
He saw the bruises and asked her if she fought with someone but she said no and did not know what happened.
Marisa sent Jade to stay in her place and she asked Jade if Jacky was single but she said Lino had told her before that Jacky was married.
She told Marisa that it seemed she had seen Jacky before. She recalled seeing Ace with Jacky at a bar.
Jade sent Ace a message that they should meet as they had a lot to talk. Jacky wanted to go out with Ace and her friends but after receiving Jade’s message, Ace made excuse to meet a client and left.
Jacky wanted to tell Ace about her encounter with Jade and how she got the bruise but Ken advised her against it.
“I don’t want all your efforts in keeping your relationship get wasted,” he explained his stance.
Jacky still insisted on telling Ace since she had gotten a lead about her father and did not want him to hear from a third party for him to think that she was up to no good.
“This is painful for me Jade, this is difficult but if this is to prove that I did not do anything wrong then so be it,” Lino said while he went to his room thinking about Jade.
Jade after meeting with Ace asked him to tell him who his wife was with but he said she was sent to see a client and she later went back to the office.
Ace later narrated that he met Lino and Jacky in Bali and learnt that they were l*v*rs.
“You used me Ace, you used me to get back to Lino,” Jade cried. She warned Ace not to meet her ever again.
In the house, Marisa asked Jade to tell Ace the truth. When Ace met Joel in the bar, his excess drinking made him believe that Ace was rather in l*v* with Jade, hence he was not ready to destroy Jade’s relationship.
Jacky went to Mauro’s office and he seemed to know the move of Jacky and used an intelligent means to warn her against her action she wanted to take.
“I am worried about the fact that you meddle with things that can hurt you,” he later ordered her to leave.
At Dos Disanyo, Lino kept working all night and Barry kept him company. Barry told Lino that when Jade left he always texted and ran after her and wondered what had changed this time. Lino said this time around he would not go after her to lose his self respect.
He explained that Jade had gone too far this time to accuse Dolor and him. Ace later met Marisa blamed their spouses for his action.
“Marisa I never meant to hurt her,” adding that he was in l^ve with Jade. He asked Marisa to confess his feelings for Jade but Marisa said whatever fling he had with Jade he was through with it.
Jade listened to their conversation from inside. Lino called Marisa to ask of Jade and she said she was staying with her and was fine.
After he failed to pick the calls of Jacky to talk to Marisa, Ace slept in his car when he arrived home. Jacky came to wake him up and he said it was all Jacky’s fault.
Jacky did not know what she did and wondered if he was talking about her meeting with Lino or her search for her father.
Jade came to Lino’s house to get the rest of her things and got into argument with Dolor after she tried to explain things to Jade to make her stay. Jade asked her to cut the crab and also said she knew they never liked her.
Lino intervened and asked her to get her stuff and leave.
Ace came down for breakfast and Jacky informed him that Dolor talked to her about her biological father.
Ace asked what if Dolor wanted to use her biological father to get her back to Lino. She stated that she was telling him that so that there would be no secret between them.
He asked how would Lino’s wife take it if she found out. Jacky interjected that the wife had already found out and it was the reason she was having bruises.
She swore to Ace that she only went to meet Dolor since she was desperate to know the whereabouts of her father and was a coincident that Lino happened to be there to pick his mother up.
Lino was searching for his green sleeves and Dolor found it for him. He was baffled that the sleeve was right Infront of him and was searching for it.
Dolor knew Lino was bothered by his recent split with Jade. Lino said it was better she was far away from him.
At Montecorp, Jacky informed Chari that she had already told Ace about her encounter with Jade and was funny that Ace took sides with Jade.
Ace told Mauro about where Robert was and he said Dolor told Jacky but Mauro said he would find a way to end it.
Lino over worked himself and Barry said Lino had no wife to go home to so he was single.
Pinky kept recalling Jade’s affair with Ace. one of the workers interjected that Boss Lino also had his limit and was good he did not stop his wife from leaving.
Lino told his workers that sometimes he was tempted to text Jade, adding that she was beautiful and men could run after her. Pinky then asked what if his wife had a suitor already.
