Betrayal (Halik) Episode 44 Gio makes his relationship with Maggie formal
“Right now I am just focused on moving on falling in l*v* all over again is another story.”
Lino got to work early. The security man opened the door for him, once he got in he told the security to leave the gate open. He would call once he needed his help.
He stood quietly, Jacky called him. Jacky greeted him and said he had come to work early.
Lino said he came early to finish off some work. She asked if that was the only reason or he came early just to distract himself from the leaked video.
Lino said he heard the video has been taken down.
“They have been cheating on us for long.”
“And we did not have a single clue.”
“You know what Jacky, those kind of people we shouldn’t cry over them. Those kinds of people they don’t worth our tears. It’s sad but the truth is we chose to l*ve the wrong people look at it in that way.”
“They really not a right person for us but there’s a right way to l*v* someone.” Lino said Ace and Jade took them for granted and deceived them.
Jacky shed tears and Lino gave her handkerchief to wipe her tears, they hugged.
As Maggie was looking for job Gio came there. She asked whether he was following her. Gio stated that she said she wanted him to court her and that was what he was doing.
Gio explained that he was not used to courting women and Maggie interjected that was because he got everything at a finger snap.
She told Gio that she could not give him clues on how to court her but he should think whether she worth his time.
“Maggie, game on I will sweep you off your feet.”
“You’re just exactly like my dad. What do you think of me robot ? From now on I am done with doing everything you want. What do you want? For me to leave Jade? I will do the exact opposite,” Ace threw his phone away
Mauro told Paeng to destroy Ace’s reputation before he did that against them.
Mauro asked whether he could do it and he said he would do it for two reasons; as a dad who was disciplining his son and as a new COO of Montecorp company.
Jade met Ace and beat him for being a jerk. Ace explained that he took the video to get back at Lino but Jade changed him.
Ace said he deleted the video once he realised Jade worth his heart and deserved to be l*v*d, adding that his friend leaked the tape.
Jade said she did not want to see him again for ruining her life.
“Everything that I had I lost it because of you, you violated me, you used me, I don’t want to see your face again. Stay away from me. You ruined me.”
Paeng recalled how he got the video from Ace’s phone. After snatching the phone from Ace he gave it to someone to get everything concerning Jade just to get Ace’s attention.
Jacky told Lino to have a vacation but he said he did not have money, explaining that he had invested all his money into the building of his house and promised to save money for it.
Jacky asked what it was for free. She told him about a business proposal from a client and Lino availed himself to go. He offered Jacky a moto ride. Although Jacky did not want to join the Moto but eventually accepted.
Marissa brought Jade a drink and complemented Ace for accepting the truth. She said it was possible Ace changed since he had fallen for her.
She received a message from Ace informing her that the video has been taken down. Marissa told Jade to watch as the video was no longer available.
“Don’t give up on the l*v* Ace and you have fought hard for. Think about it bestie.”
Jacky joined Lino on the Moto and they met Ricafort. Celine was glad that Lino and Jacky were working on their project .
Gio was so happy and told his friend about Maggie. He said she was daring and different. He texted Maggie and she texted him back that she missed the burgers.
Bogs saw Maggie and felt disappointed that Maggie said she could beat Gio if he cheated on her.
Dolor packed lots of things for Lino’s over night trip. Lino said the things were too much but Dolor said it was okay as she wanted him to get enough to wear even when he was going for site seeing.
Maggie got there and he saw her texting someone. He asked Maggie whether she was texting her boyfriend and she said a friend. Lino asked her to hand over her phone to him for him to see but she did not.
Lino told Dolor to keep an eye on Maggie since she might be having a boyfriend. Dolor said he should leave her. She was an adult and knew the right and the wrong.
Lino asked Dolor if it was right for him to go to the trip with Jacky. He feared that it could be used against them. Dolor said let people talk if they wanted.
She said he and Jacky had the right to be happy and it was a great revenge against Jade and Ace.
Paeng realised the scandal video was taken down. He promised Mauro to find out the person who leaked the video. The press kits of Paeng’s apology came out and Mauro was happy that their efforts had been effective.
Ace went to a casino there he met Aliyah. She flirted around Ace.
Gio paid the Bartolomes surprise visit. Maggie was told that a handsome young man was looking for her. They wondered who that could be.
They all went to check and she realised it was Gio. He greeted Dolor and he said he was there to seek her permission.
Dolor said they should go upstairs for him to explain what he needed her permission for.
Ace read the article and realised that his own father was trying to ruin him. He crumbled the newspapers and threw it away.
Lino and his team reached their destination and Celine showed them the hotel, leaving them to find the appropriate designs.
Gio told Dolor that he was in l*v* with Maggie. Bogs, Puncho and the other workers took pictures in the new area.
Bogs said it was too bad that Maggie was not around.
Puncho asked him about Maggie’s boss who was always following her around and Bogs said he had getting rid of him so the road was now clear for him to get Maggie.
The workers were happy for him. Dolor asked Maggie about Gio. He said he was serious about her that was why he came home to reveal his intentions.
Dolor thanked him for revealing his pure intentions about Maggie but she said the family was going through tough time.
Gio interjected, he promised not to hurt Maggie’s feelings and he was not in a hurry but wanted her to give him chance to prove his sincere feelings for Maggie.
John complemented Lino and said he and Jacky made a great team. Lino told him that he knew where he was going but now he was busy with his work.
John stated that he was not being cupid but l*v* made one complete so he should consider it.
Meanwhile, Celine was telling Jacky same thing. Jacky said she and Lino were better off as friends, already they had a history together and wanted it to be that way.
“Well ironically speaking history repeats itself Jacky,” Ken interjected and they all laughed.
“That is not the case for Lino and I we just started to rekindle our friendship and for me that’s more important.”
Celine told her that she wanted her to be happy to get passed that pain because of what Ace did.
“I also hope you don’t shut the door of possibilities just because it ain’t convenience for you.”
