Betrayal (Halik) Episode 45 Ace and Jade rekindle their l*v*
At the house of the Bartolomes, Gio descended down the stairs with Maggie. Maggie wondered why Gio asked her mom’s permission to court her.
He said he did a research on how to court Philippine woman traditional way. He said he had fallen for Maggie and was serious with her.
Jade asked Marissa whether it was right for her to care about Ace. Marissa said it was normal since Ace was a good person.
Ace went to see Paeng to confront him for destroying his future through the press release. Ace said Paeng orchestrated his downfall just to take over from him.
He said he would not be surprised if Paeng rise against Mauro some day.
“Face it dad you are just a hungry dog who is waiting for Mauro’s left over.” Paeng got offended and fought Ace to take back his word.
Gio came to meet the fight and separated them. Ace advised Gio to leave the house otherwise Paeng would turn him also into his poppet.
Ace went to Marissa’s apartment to look for Jade, although Marissa did not want to allow him in but he managed to get through to be with Jade.
Ace said sorry to Jade and told her he chose her so he was thrown out of his family’s house and was sacked from Montecorp.
Jade accepted to fight for their l*ve. She said irrespective of what had happened she still l*v*d him. They embraced and she went home with Ace.
As Lino and his workers were working, John Ricafort came to inform them that food was ready so they could join him and Celine to eat.
As they left, Barry told Lino that they had to finish the job for them to leave the next day. He said Lino’s birthday was few days ahead and they had to celebrate.
Jacky came to call Lino for dinner. Lino still stood on his grounds that there was no right time, if one has a time to do something he had to do it and should not wait because he might be disappointed waiting for the right time.
Jacky then said everything happens for a reason.
“So the way our spouses cheated on us what is the reason behind that?”
“For us to become friends again.” Jacky said their friendship meant everything to them so they should not hide their feelings from eachother.
She did not want Lino to misinterpret her sayings so she tried changing her statement. She told Ken and Chari about it. Ken said Lino might not be thinking about it in that way Jacky was thinking.
Meanwhile, Barry told Lino that Jacky was right for saying the brighter side of the picture was for their friendship to be rekindled.
Barry advised Lino to go with the flow. He asked whether Lino was now free for them to go out and eat.
Maggie tried getting a dress for her date with Gio. She said she never wanted to go out, Dolor interjected; and she was searching for her dress?
She asked Maggie if she truly felt something special for Gio. She told Maggie not to feel shy since it was part of growing up.
Dolor’s concern was that Gio was from a good family and did not want Maggie to stress herself up just to please the family of Gio. She said she knew Gio got everything on a silver platter and did not want Gio’s family to look down on Maggie.
She told Maggie to keep it in mind. Maggie assured that she had learnt from Jade and Lino and would not have a boyfriend just for material things.
The workers of Dos Disenyos gathered for a short party and they forced Lino to play guitar and sing. Jacky had a sweet memories of Lino when they were dating.
Meanwhile, Ace and Jade also promised to make their relationship work although they knew their relationship was far from perfect.
They k!$$ed and headed to the bedroom while Ace carried Jade. All the workers said they were going to pee and left Jacky and Lino. Jacky said she had missed Lino, her High school best friend.
Lino said they had been through a lot and had decided to be happy for eachother. Jacky asked if he was truly happy. The rest returned and Ken said he had finally found his phone.
They took a group picture. Jacky slept and Lino asked Barry to help him with Jacky but he said Lino got it. Lino asked Ken for help, he said he was not moving an inch. Lino then sent Jacky inside by himself.
The next day, the l*v* birds were still making l*v* with Ace saying he wanted Jade.Jade said what they did was wrong but they could make things right. She proposed that they should forget about their ex.
Celine told Lino that she had seen the furniture and it was perfect. Aliyah called Ace, demanding to see her and Ace replied that he loved to see her too.
He lied to Jade that it was a job offer from an old client, Jade was blown from her feet and told him she would get his suit ready.
Ace still could not get his eyes of Jade while Jade kept saying he should head to the shower.
Celine told Lino that he could visit anytime and Lino asked if he could bring his mother along and she said yes.
As they were k!$$ing, Jade said they should have their own kids and Ace said some day.
Jade told Marissa that after what had happened, her l*v* with Ace had lighted up better than how they used to.
Marissa said that was because they were no longer keeping secrets from eachother. Jade told Marissa about Ace’s new job and his meeting with the potential client.
At the casino, Aliyah spoke with Ace on phone and she said sorry for not meeting with Ace as scheduled. Ace asked what she wanted from him and she said she would help him get his job back.
Ace said he could get everything he wanted without anybody’s help. Aliyah asked whether she could get Montecorp. He then accepted and asked her what he wanted as an exchange.
She made her men gave Ace the gamble dice (money) and told Ace she wanted him to win 1000 during the night as she does not partner with losers.
Ace accepted the game and he said he was a winner.
