Husband of Joyce Blessing claims custody of their kids over divorce brouhaha
It has not been long, since Spot On News reported that, the sensational gospel singer, Joyce Blessing’s home was being tattered apart as her husband allegedly divorced her.
Due to that, her husband, Dave Joy Blessing who is also the manager to the singer denied her access to their children.
The musician who was seen in a video circulating on social media after the news of the marriage hit the public, being traumatised for not allowed to meet her children she bore in her 10 year marriage.
The video saw Joyce Blessing in a heated argument with a woman believed to be her sister-in-law, when she went to the house to pick up her three children.
The viral video created controversy, as her fans and music enthusiasts were contemplating on how the divorce came about and what might have necessitated the misgivings in her long-standing marriage.
Former Zylofon Media signee in a media interview, affirmed that her marriage was hit by a crisis and the issue related to the divorce and the custody of the children were in the hands of her lawyer.
She indicated that she would not speak on the topic since her lawyer was dealing with the case, saying she was not in a position to deliberate on the issue for now.
The “Repent” hitmaker explained that her inability to speak immediately on the divorce brouhaha was not only about the fact that her lawyer was handling the case, but did not want to be misrepresented or misquoted by anyone before official statements are issued.
She observed that some of the media personalities were fond of misquoting people and did not want her marital issue to suffer public uproar through their misquotes and misrepresentation, thus the delay to deliberate on the subject matter.
She urged fans to stay calm as plans were far advanced to get them informed on her marital problem, adding that her team was working and soon a press statement would be released to clarify the issue.
