Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 24 Irene is punished for food poisoning a customer, Ling fights with Bingo over his new position at the warehouse
Irene came to serve Dara and her friends at the Shei Wei Tian Restaurant. She said the food was her treat and urged them to eat. But the Binondo neighbours of Bingo had their own doubts.
Cathy came around and heard what was going on and told Irene to taste it first. Irene couldn’t and wanted to throw up. Dara and her friends realised, Irene had added certain things to the food and laughed at her for her inability to outwit them.
Cathy scolded Irene for her act. Irene explained that Dara and her friends were bullying her so she wanted to teach them a lesson. Cathy made her understand that the customers could accuse them of food poisoning, thus punished Irene.
As part of the punishment, she would work till closing times. She would clean all the dishes and also throw all the rubbish away. Irene was protesting when Cathy reminded her that she came and was literally begging so she ought to do it.
Elsewhere, Bingo and Ling after eating street food also made Ling hop on his bicycle and drove her around Binondo. It rained and they were happy while cruising in it.
After their fun together, Long went home to find Bettina sitting on the couch. She showed her sister love but Bettina was not minding her.
As she was leaving, Bettina called her name and she thanked her for helping her. She was grateful that she made her friend, Bingo testify in her favour.
Bingo, on the other hand told Snoop about the money he rejected after his testimony helped Bettina. Snoop couldn’t believe that he turned down such an offer. Bingo made it clear that there were certain things that one did not have to get paid for.
To Snoop the Tius were rich so giving him something wouldn’t take anything. Bingo told Snoop that he got paid in a different way but failed to tell him.
Elsewhere, Jaime after regaining consciousness realised he was no longer chained to the chair. He fled and when he came out to gain his freedom, he was surrounded by the police. He was arrested for hacking into GL Bank.
Carlo and Charleston were observing from afar. Ling and the workers of the warehouse still had a rough path. Cathy summoned Ling to the restaurant.
As Ling went to see her, Cathy informed her about the report that she received from Keta that the workers were not being efficient because Ling wanted to take away the employee benefits of being the first to purchase an item they wanted.
Ling explained that Keta misinterpreted everything. She only wanted the workers to pass through her before going through other departments because she was accountable for the things in the boxes and was also their team leader.
Cathy stated that before she would start her business, she already met Keta and did not want to lose her employees. Irene was spying and was very happy that Cathy was having an issue with Ling.
Bingo realised that they keep losing an amount of money from their sales and vowed to find a way to make things work before they lose everything. He went to pay his debts and saw Cathy.
Cathy learnt of his predicament and offered to help him. Ling called out all the workers and dismissed Keta’s rumours. She explained that all that she wanted was for them to pass through her even before going to see HR since she was their team leader and was accountable for all the boxes.
The workers understood her and realised that everything Keta said was a lie. Bingo met up with Ling and told her that he had a surprise for her. Ling wanted to scream so Bingo sent her to a place where she yelled all her frustrations out.
The following day, Cathy came to announce that she had a new Operation Manager who would work under Yasmin as their work force was increasing. The person was none other than Bingo. Ling was unhappy to see him.
The new Training Operational Manager was introduced to the three leaders Ling who was responsible for Sorting, Keta responsible for Pricing and Tony responsible for Encoding.
Bingo associated with them and told Tony that since he had worked there for a long time, he wanted him to teach him certain things though he equally had his low workforce. He and Ling had a rough path. Ling was upset that he didn’t open up to her when he got the job to be her boss.
Bingo claimed not to know. He was given a job and he accepted besides, he already hinted at having a surprise for her and thought he liked the surprise and the idea to work with him.
Ling claimed he was bossy and when she loved under his roof, he was always setting rules. Bingo also told her that she was also bossy with fancy words.
Later, Ling went to meet Jersey and they went shopping. Jersey believed Ling had a problem and urged her to share but Ling kept denied.
Cathy came to serve Bingo with a coffee and asked him how his first day went. It was hectic due to his misunderstanding with Ling.
Actually, Cathy employed him to supervise Ling for her to learn the results of building good relationships, loyalty and ability to communicate and would be paid for it.
Bingo was clear that his patience was tested that day but he promised not to give up on Ling and once Ling learnt, he would leave the place.
