Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 25 The police are on the tail of Charleston, Liv becomes a second suspect in Edward’s déåth, Neco’s name is cleared
Bingo was ironing his shirt in the evening but his grandma saw how tense he was and knew it was about Ling. She wanted him to understand her. She told Snoop and Bingo to sleep.
Ling arrived home feeling tipsy. She pleaded with Cathy to return her to the restaurant because it was a place her expertise was met.
Aunty Cathy saw that she was drunk and refused to grant her request. When Cathy left her, she opened the door to where Cathy refrained her and Irene not to enter. She entered and saw feathers and lots of strange things which reminded her of her mother.
Elsewhere, Charleston was approached by the investigator of Edward’s case at a club. He threatened Charleston and told him that the case was still open and investigation is being conducted to bring the culprit to book.
The following day, Charleston informed Carlo about it. The investigator handling Edward’s case began to tail him. He told Carlo that they had to be extra vigilant and calculate their steps since the investor has been tailing him since yesterday.
At the warehouse, Ling carried out a random inspection on the lockers. She found some stolen items in the lock of Neco and wanted him to be dismissed.
However, Bingo requested for further investigation before because Neco denied being the one who put the things in his locker.
Bingo insisted that they should file an incident report while Ling insisted that the evidence was clear and what Neco did could be considered as theft and could lead to termination of his job as part of the penalty of his act.
Bingo pulled Ling to talk to her and advised her not to sound so harsh because termination was serious. They were called to the HR office and Neco still denied. He was willing to resign for them to deduct the money from his salary.
If that was not enough, he would pay the rest in installment to protect his dignity. Ling was still standing on her evidence but Bingo cut her short and told Neco that they would give him the benefit of the doubt and investigate.
They would not blame him without enough evidence. Bingo was willing to cooperate. Elsewhere, the police investigation led to Liv and she became the second suspect.
Stephen asked of the first suspect and the inspector mentioned Charleston Tiu. Liv met up with Bettina. Bingo told the security to review the CCTV footage to check the person who placed the thing in Neco’s locker.
Ling wanted to give Bingo a ride home but he refused. He wanted to take a jeepney. Ling claimed that would mean he had taken things personal because she had already forgiven him for being bossy.
Besides, his point about Neco was valid. In a family meeting, after the Tius received information that the investigation had led to Charleston, Gina suggested they make Liv the fall girl.
Liv was interrogated at the police station but she denied having anything to do with the death of Edward. The following day, Neco was cleared as the footage revealed that a certain slim guy with a hat slipped the phones into his locker.
Bingo was happy for him and went to inform Ling, demanding her to apologise to Nico. Now, Ling was certain that they had a thief who was roaming unidentified which required them to double their efforts in finding the culprit.
After another bitter encounter, Irene kidnapped Snoop to reach a deal with him to buy her liquor every time and she would pay him 3000. Snoop agreed.
Ling while coding an item accidentally fell and she suggested an idea of automation but that idea would mean that the workers would lose their jobs. Bingo advised her to get to know the workers well because some of them, their lives depended on that job.
The police investigated the security personnel at the penthouse but there was a lady behind the scene who was misleading the investigation by paying the security to shut their mouth about what they knew.
Since Stephen did not want to lose his friendship with Ling in his interest in helping the Liaos to gain justice,he rushed to the Tius mansion to inform them about the development.
Bingo arrived home to find his neighbours doing online sale. Bougie had a red lipstick on and Bingo said she was looking good in it. He was texting Ling when Bougie requested to go out with him the following day and the treat was on her.
Bingo said okay and Bougie deduced that it was an answer to her request. Unbeknownst, it was an okay message he was sending to Ling which he voiced it out.
Ling after replying heard a bang on her door and it was no other than Stephen. She was escorted by Stephen to go and pray and after the prayers, she was still under the umbrella of Stephen walking from the place.
