Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 45 Ibe confesses how Cindy bribed him and Annie in her schemes against Divine, Ling returns to Manila in a mission to expose Cindy
Charleston approached his mother. Cindy stated that she kept her mouth shut about Divine’s déåth and lied to Wilson just to protect herself and her children.
She claimed Divine was manipulating Wilson and she had to twist the story to make Divine look bad in order to get her husband.
Ling went to talk to Bingo to apologize for Stephen’s reactions. He admitted that he learnt about his mother’s connection to the issue from Balong and didn’t know the full story.
Mr. Ibe went to his house and was attacked. Bingo went to see Caroline in her room but met her absence. She was going to see Ibe and talked to him privately.
Stephen spoke with Cindy and he told him to drag Caroline home. Stephen kidnapped Caroline in his attempt to drag her home by force.
When he put Ling inside his car, Ling threatened not to be his friend should he move the car. She stepped out in fury and Stephen stated that he was only working upon the orders of Cindy.
Ling now understood that Cindy was aware of her current location and knew that she had met with Mr. Ibe. She advised Stephen to allow her to do her investigation because there was a truth Cindy wanted it to be concealed.
Since, Bingo always helped her to get her answers to every question she had, Stephen decided to allow her to find out every information she had about her late mother for Ling to free her mind on such issues.
Elsewhere, Ibe cornered Bingo. He àttàcked him with the belief that he was responsible for the attack he suffered in his house. Bingo stated clearly that he was not responsible for that and also cleared Ling’s involvement in the said attack.
He explained that Ling left the hotel to see him and when they were coming to La Sinfonia, they never informed anyone, except, Stephen who discovered their location and came on his own peril.
Ibe believed him. In Bulacan, Snoop bumped into Irene and asked if she was in a relationship with Aldrich as he saw them hugging.
When Irene saw that Snoop was acting jealous, she said she did not have to explain herself. Ling received a call from Bingo and he told her about where Ibe and him were.
Ling arrived there and Ibe finally opened up that he was interested in Divine but Divine never dated him. As he was desperately interested in her, Cindy bribed him to use inferior materials to build the restaurant Divine was setting up so that Wilson would be upset and leave her for him.
Ling was surprised that he could use substandard materials just to get a woman. Ibe confessed that he didn’t do that but he made it appear like he was paid more than he should in order for Wilson to be upset.
The documents for the forged amount he received were put together by Annie, Bingo’s mother but he had nothing to do with the collapse of the building.
Bingo was not surprised about his mom’s involvement in the whole issue because she even sold her integrity and abandoned him.
Stephen arrived in Manila and went to see Cindy. Cindy was disappointed that he did not come with Ling. He made it clear that he did not want his relationship with Ling to be affected by carrying her orders. From now onwards, he would only do what Ling wanted.
Cindy was so scared. After Ling and Bingo gained the information they wanted, they bid emotional goodbye to Ibe and thanked him for confessing everything.
They returned to Manila with a decision that, they would find out the person Cindy was protecting because Ibe made it clear that Cindy was not the one who k!lléd Divine. He was actually there with Cindy when she received a call about Divine’s demise.
Ling believed Cindy orchestrated everything and made it look like her mother committed sü¡c¡de and was poised to find the truth.
She arrived home when Cindy was setting up the dining table. She acted like she was concerned about Ling’s welfare, while stressing that Mr. Ibe was a dangerous person who she shouldn’t have met up with.
She was surprised when Ling did not answer aggressively but warmly said okay. Bettina arrived there. She made a jovial remark that she thought Ling wouldn’t return. Ling congratulated her for her new position as the COO.
