Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 44 Stephen arrives in La Sinfonia and reveals Ling’s plans to Cindy, Bingo and Stephen engage in fist f¡ght
Ling woke up and couldn’t stop thinking about Bingo. She didn’t know whether Bingo wanted her to take the first step to k¡ss him. Coincidentally, Bingo was also thinking the same.
They both tried to brush off the k¡ss¡ng and reminded themselves about the business they wanted to do and concentrate on it.
Ling stepped out to sit in front of a bonfire. Bingo also couldn’t sl the p and stepped out to find Ling and he sat by her side. After their warm speech, they decided to go and sleep and wake up to see Ibe.
The following day, they found Mr. Ibe loading his car. When they approached, Ibe refused to do any business with them as he had found out that Ling was a Tiu.
Ling pleaded with him to tell her something about her late mother, Divine. Ibe refused. In the Tius’ mansion, confusion broke between Charleston and his father pertaining to Wilson’s decision to appoint Bettina as the COO.
He asked if Wilson wanted to disgrace him. Wilson explained that he was objective with his decision. That made Charleston wonder if Bettina’s appointment as COO was his objective thinking.
Bettina appeared in the scene to admit that she was the objective thought of their father because Charleston had never been interested in GLC and wondered why he suddenly wanted to head it.
Charleston made it clear that all that he wanted was the best for GLC and for his siblings but what they have done to him, he would sell off his shares in GLC to someone who was not a Tius. This got his family worried.
As Ling and Bingo were also thinking about how to compel Ibe to reveal everything about the déåth of Divine, they bumped into Stephen who was in La Sinfonia and searching for Ling.
He surprisingly told them that he was the financier of the business Bingo proposed. Ling didn’t understand why Jonathan never said anything about it to them.
Stephen also said he heard about Ibe being their business partner. He wanted to be the one to negotiate with Ibe and believed that Bingo screwed things up that was the reason Ibe didn’t accept the business proposal.
This led into an argument between Bingo and Stephen. Ling separated them and had a private talk with Stephen. She confronted Stephen for his act and Stephen asked if she was dating Bingo.
Her honest answer was “no” but might say “yes” to him, if he asked her to be his girlfriend. Stephen was surprised because he believed that economic status mattered but Ling was the best judge.
In Bulacan, Irene was hurt that she was not nominated and thought of calling Snoop. She met up with Aldrich and requested for a hug since she was passing through emotional torture.
Snoop spotted them and got jealous. He left the place and was sad as he discovered that he had fallen for Irene. A certain man was seated at the streets who overheard Snoop talking about how he had fallen for a girl who was spoiled.
The man gave him clues. Ling talked to Bingo to get along with Stephen for her sake. They sat to eat but Stephen ordered Bingo to find his own food. Bingo returned with a food which Ling didn’t know how to eat but she ate it much to Stephen’s surprise.
Stephen later met up with Ibe to talk to him to accept the proposal. However, Ibe knew they were rather after the answers of the long-held questions Ling had about her mother.
Stephen made it clear that he was after the business but to no avail. He then called Cindy to inform her about Caroline seeking information on her mother’s déåth from a man named Ibe.
Cindy in fear ordered him to disrupt Caroline’s from speaking with Ibe. She revealed that Bingo’s mother Annie was working with Ibe and they were responsible for the déåth of Divine.
After the call, Cindy called Gina to inform her that Ling was at La Sinfonia and had met Ibe. Cindy was so scared and told Gina to come up with a plan immediately. Wilson arrived there.
Cindy then pretended to be bothered about Charleston’s threat of selling off his shares with GLC. At La Sinfonia, Stephen confronted Bingo for his mother’s act of working with Ibe and having a hand in Divine’s déåth.
The bombshell he dropped got Ling worried. She questioned Bingo. Bingo had a fist f¡ght with Stephen and Ling tried to separate them.
