Award winning gospel singer Selina Boateng has expressed her unhappiness about the manner in which some men take advantage of women to satisfy their $exual desires.
According to her, forcing someone to have $ex with has emotional, psychological and health complications and called on men to respect the body of women.
Recalling incident that led to the loss of her virginity in a media interview on United Television in Accra, the beautiful Songstress bemoaned that someone forcefully broke her virginity at the age of 27.

The act which was done without her consent led her to distrust and become scared of men.
“I was raped at a time that I was not expecting to lose my virginity. I was really hurt but was not a Christian then, I was just a church goer,” Selina Boateng added.
She stated that she would never forget that day and cried that no man should repeat the atrocious act with any woman.

Replying whether she reported the rape incident to the police, Selina Boateng said she felt so ashamed of herself to the extent that she failed to talk to people including police about the incident.
The sensational singer explained that she did not want to be sidelined and feel dejected from the society, hence brood over the crime to save her integrity.
She said although it was not the best decision she took at the time but stated she would have reported the issue if it was today.
Selina Boateng regretted that the manner in which society approach victims of rape was awful and urged them not to pinpoint victims of rape.

She said once people respect and protect rape victims others who suffer such act would feel at ease to open up and allow the law to take its full course.
The “Alpha and Omega” hitmaker urged men to be responsible and respect decision of women.
In other development, she chose Dancehall art Stonebwoy as her favorite over Shatta Wale.
Defending her choice, she said she was intrigued by the kind of music and performance of Stonebwoy after she watched him on YouTube.
Selina Boateng chipping fans in her childhood days said she sold to support her family and her education.
She noted that life did not start on a smooth pace for her but after she became Christian in 2011 things turned around for her good.
Selina Boateng is an Award winning Gospel music writer, singer and composer credited for touching gospel songs including; Alpha and Omega, Medofo pa and Eda Papa.
She is currently married to a pastor and has great songs and awards to her name.
