The Way To Your Heart Episode 80 Lucas confesses his crime after Helena exposes him during his engagement with Onay
After Helena managed to get Vince to confess the hidden secret of Lucas, she was surprised to hear the confession. Vince suddenly, fell asleep. He later woke up and Helena wanted him to confirm what he earlier said but Vince did not realise that he shared his dirty secret with Helena while he was drunk.
Vince acted up and Helena reminded him of saying he planned Onay’s r¶pe and Maila was Lucas’ daughter. Vince denied and told Helena that she was saying things from the figment of her imagination.
Helena then decided to confirm it from Lucas but Vince warned her. She was upset that Vince shut her up while she was poised to avenge Onay for everything she had done against her. She wanted to avenge the d£ath of Elvin and the manner Onay took Natalie from her hand, leaving her with nothing.
Helena was bent on ruining the life of Onay and she could only do that when Lucas was out of her life. Soleng advised her against her plans. Seeing vince would be an hindrance in the execution of her plans, Helena packed out from Vince’s mansion but before she and Soleng could reach the gate, the body guard of Vince held them at a guπ point, warning them to turn back.
Soleng deployed a plan and got in the way of the guard by hitting him to get Helena to flee. In the house, Natalie could not understand the change in Maila’s behaviour especially during the time that Onay had finally found her knight and shining armour. Natalie acted as the doctor to examine Maila for symptoms of fever and malaria. As she asked Maila her exact problem, Maila said she had a little misunderstanding with Oliver.
It was an excuse Maila came up with just to cover the truth till Lucas gather the courage to confess his sins. Natalie believed things would soon fall into place and she would be fine. As Natalie left, Maila kept thinking whether she was doing the right thing for allowing her mother to marry her r¶p!$t.
Soon, the preparation was done for the engagement. The event saw friends and family coming together to grace that special moment of Onay and Lucas. As everyone was happy that Onay has found herself a knight, Lucas was being judged by his conscience and felt very guilty for not revealing the truth to Onay.
Lucas and Onay were welcomed on stage and the crowd cheered them with an applause. Later, Helena appeared at the ceremony having her plan glued on her mind to make the event memorable for Onay. She hid herself waiting for the next line of action before she would strike since the party just got started.
Elsewhere, Vince arrived to scold his men for their inability to keep Helena. He became frustrated not knowing what Helena would do now that she knew he and Lucas’ secret. He kept scolding his guards for allowing Helena to escape. He decided to hold Soleng as captive.
Vince vents his anger on Soleng and began maltreating the servant. As he left with his guards, Soleng quickly made a call. At the event, Lucas delivered a heart warming speech about his undying feelings for Onay and sealed the moment with a k!$$. Helena then revealed herself to everyone.
Her appearance made Natalie fear that she would ruin Onay’s biggest moment.
“This is so romantic!” Helena hissed “I almost shed a tear.”
In a hurry, Natalie tried to stop Helena before she would create a mess, she asked Helena what she wad doing there and Helena said she was also there to celebrate with them. She turned to the couple and said they were a perfect match. Helena then raised eyebrows when she told Lucas to confess the truth about the secret he had kept all those years to his future wife.
Seeing Lucas being adamant Helena insinuated that they were soul mates and they knew eachother before they met. Onay was lost so she asked Helena what she was insinuating. Helena went on casting more insinuations making Onay more confused when she asked Onay how could she forget the touch of his skin and lips.
Helena asked Lucas why he was scared to speak up while trust was the foundation of, before she could end her statement Lucas yelled on her to shut up.
“You shut up! ” the guests stared hysterically as Helena went on revealing the truth.
“Are you not the r¶pi$t of Onay?”
Onay ordered Helena to stop spewing all those lies. Helena told her she did not know the man she was marrying and urged Lucas on to spill the beans if he was not responsible for Onay’s r¶pe and her son’s death. Onay turned to Lucas to demand answers. However, Natalie rushed to drive Helena away.
Helena insisted that she was not the enemy but Lucas was. Natalie and Maila threw her out. Maila tried calming Onay and took her away. Hector approached Lucas and his eyes suggested it all to confess as the truth was already out.
Meanwhile, Vince was also waiting in his car patiently for Helena to get back at her for backstabbing him while he provided a shelter for her. He spotted Helena and he tailed her. Lucas then came clean to Onay and said sorry for everything that he did as he did not mean it. He knelt before Onay while he was shedding tears.
Onay recalled how she was r¶ped leading to Elvin’s accident and how Helena blamed her for the omen that had befell on the Montenegro’s family, hence took away Natalie to replace her loss son.
